“Afghanistan Has Got Immense Gains In The New Era”, Khalili

Kabul (BNA) The US ambassador has met with Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president during which they discussed the recent visit of the president to the US and the meeting of the presidents, current regional issues, issues pertaining to Afghanistan and other issues of interest.
The US ambassador expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved in the bilateral talks on the security agreement between the Kabul and Washington and emphasized that agreement on this treaty reflects joint efforts of the two countries towards long-term cooperation between Kabul and Washington.
The US ambassador declared the readiness of his country for signing of the security agreement between the two nations, and assured that the international community especially the US after 2014 will be on the side of the government and people of Afghanistan and their cooperation in strengthening, equipping and training of the security forces of Afghanistan will be continue.
Khalili while appreciating US support in the past 10 years to the government and people of Afghanistan called the US government and people as strategic partners of Afghanistan and emphasized on further expansion of long-term relations of cooperation between the two countries.
Khalili added that the new era come about in the light of cooperation of international community with the people of Afghanistan and fortunately under the present conditions we have marked achievements and the government of and people of Afghanistan will not refrain from any efforts in preserving these achievements.
