Marshal Mohammad Qasim Faheem Lays Wreath on Tomb of Martyred of Peace Prof. Burhanuddin Rabbani

Kabul (BNA) On the second martyrdom anniversary of Professor Burhanuddin Rabbani, ex-president, leader of Jamiat-e-Islami, ex-chairman of HPC and leader of Jihad and resistance, Marshal Mohammad Qasim Faheem, Vice President in a ceremony laid a  bouquet of flower on his tomb and prayed for the soul of the martyred and all other martyrs of Afghanistan. In the ceremony which was held on the tomb of martyred Rabbani in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan hill was attended by a number of members of cabinet, political figures and colleagues of Shaheed Ustad Rabbani.
First Vice President said, “Ustad Rabbani, who was an academic, moderate and tolerable figure, hoped to see peace and stability in his homeland Afghanistan where he tried a lot but lost his life on this way.” He said Ustad Rabbani as leader of Jihad and resistance always tried for consolidation of Islamic government in the country and believed that only such kind of government could be responsive to Jihad of Afghan people.
