46 Taliban militants killed in Ghoor

Cheghcheran (BNA) the Omid 12 operation of Ghoor province was ended with killing of 46 Taliban militants.  In this operation the insecurity regions of Doulena, Shahrak, Teora and Pasawand districts were cleaned from presence of rebels.  General chief of staff Zeyaratshah Abed commander of 207 army crops said to BNA, this operation conducted by national army and police forces in which 46 Taliban rebels were killed and 21 others of them were wounded.  In these operations, tens of rebels arms were seized by these forces, 7 soldiers of national army were wounded and two others were martyred. Faizabad (BNA) the construction work for new building of education dept of Badakhshan province started.  These new foundations will be constructed in the yard of education dept with the assistance of German country.  In the inaugural ceremony of these foundations, Shamsulrahman deputy governor of Badakhshan during appreciation from assistances of German said, this building will be constructed in the area of half jirib of land with the assistances of German at the cost of $ 260,000.  Mir Abdul Rahman education head of Badakhshan said to BNA, these foundations will be constructed in 2 stories from budget of German GTZ and will have 12 administrative rooms, conference hall and other necessary facilities.  According to him the construction of this building will be completed within one year.  T. Kabul (BNA) 9 Taliban rebels were killed in NATO air attack in Kandahar province this morning.
These rebels were targeted by air forces of NATO in Panjwai district and killed.
BNA quoting from NATO press statement said, nine armed Taliban including their commanders were killed in this operation.
NATO said these terrorist were ready to attack on Afghan and NATO forces which were bombarded by NATO forces.
It is said during the bombardment the civilians had no casualties.

NPF Kills 18 Armed Rebels

Kabul (BNA) The press sources of the interior affairs ministry said that 18 armed rebels of Taliban were killed in cleaning up operations. 
Interior ministry press office said to BNA, the national police forces in the last 24 hours conducted 8 cleaning up operations in Kabul, Laghman, Kunduz, Kandahar, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghoor and Helmand provinces in which 18 armed Taliban rebels were killed, a Talib wounded and 18 others of the rebels have been detained. 
According the source, in these operations, 49 kg of narcotics, 24 heavy ammunitions, a Dahshaka machine gun, 6 different types of arms, 250 light bullets, 16 anti-personnel mines, a quantity of military equipments and a motorbike of enemies were seized by these forces.

Mehtarlam (BNA) Due to air attack of NATO forces in Laghman province, 4 armed Taliban including a commander of them were killed. 
Sarhadi Zhwak spokesman of Laghman governor said to BNA, this operation carried out in Shamkast area, Alishing district by combined forces, in which Rohullah with his 3 colleagues were killed. 
According to the source, Commander Roihullah was one of the senior commanders of Taliban in Alishing district and committed most destructive and suicide attacks in that province. 
In this operation the security forces and civilians had no casualties.

4 Local Commanders Of Taliban Detained

Kabul (BNA) Four local commander of Taliban were detained in combined operations. 
These commanders were arrested from the outskirts of Kandahar, Ghazni, Logar and Herat provinces. 
BNA quoting from NATO press statement, these commanders organized tens of terrorist attacks on Afghan and foreign soldiers. 
It is said that during the operations, a number of rebels killed and arrested as well. 
This statement added tens of arms of rebels and hundreds kg of explosive materials and narcotic were seized during the operations.

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and culture, addressing the literary gathering entitled” night of poem and memory” organized in honor of the high position of Shahed Prof. Burhanuddin Rabani and the peace week and national unity said that Ustad left behind a bright way.
The gathering was by some members of the National Assembly, lecturers of the university, deputy ministers of some ministers of some ministries, poets, writers from the center and province, Dr. Raheen said that Ustad believes in his path and worked so much in different eras that he could attract many followers who praised his perceptions.
The poets read out their poems on the struggle and cultural life of Ustad Rabani.
Sayed Habib Shah Lecturer of the Kabul University talked on the personality of Ustad and his activities and Wasel Noor Muhmand deputy Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled recalled some memories of Ustad while he was meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia and President of Senegal.
Salahuddin Rabbani chairman of the high peace council while appreciating the government over marking the peace week and the first anniversary of Shahed Ustad Burhanuddin Rabbani former chairman of the high peace council said that the pious people of Afghanistan marked the activities and achievements of Ustad who laid his life on the path of ensuring peace and freedom.
At the end letters of merits were distributed by Salahuddin Rabbani, Deen Mohammad Rashedi deputy minister for publication of ministry of information and culture and Ahmad Wali Masoud to some of the personalities and the media men.

Justice Minister Visits Sar-i-Pul

Kabul (BNA) Minister for Justice Habibullah Ghalib paid a visit to Sar-i-Pul province yesterday.
Accompanied by officials from attorney General Office and directorate to counter corruption, the minister in meeting with local officials besides listening to the problems had instructed concerned bodies to solve the problems of provincial administrations.

91% of Targeted Tasks Completed

Kabul (BNA) Najib Amin deputy head of regulation and assessment of administration affairs secretariat of the Council of Ministers told the press that the two month time given for implementation of decree No 45 of the president is complete and the assigned departments were able to achieve 30 instances to tasks. These include:
-Naming of localities and Kabul streets
-Enlisting the government land usurpers and the amount of land usurped.
-Categorizing of authorities for addressing the criminal files,
-Mechanism of tests for civil service officials,
  -The list of those irresponsible people extracting mines.
Provincial visits by cabinet members starting from second half of Sunbula till the start of Mizan 1391 a total of 29 trips were carried out.
Amin Najib added that the tasks of the third month were 47 instances of which 31 department were compelled to achieve them.
He added that on the basis of the decree 45 this department was assigned to supervise the implementation of the provision of the decree and orders of the president during the five years (1385-1390) and report to the presidential office.
Our findings indicate that during this period 10544 tasks were given by these decree and orders to various departments and 91% of them were achieved.
He also mentioned the tasks assigned by the plenary session of the Council of Ministers on the tenth of Mizan in respect to development projects including that of Kabul Municipality to be supervised by the ministry of economy and supervision of highways by the ministry of public works, assessment of water supply possibilities for Kabul City and New Kabul City to the Urban development Ministry and elimination of the similar structure were given to the ministries of economy and finance.
