Sheberghan (BNA) fourteen inmates were released from the central jail of Jouzjan province yesterday.
The inmates were released as per the decree of President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on the occasion of holy Ramadan month.
It should be said that presently there are 900 prisoners in Sheberghan prison, 30 of they are women.

Nine Armed Taliban kill

Kabul (BNA)  the Afghan security forces in the last 24 hours carried out cleansing operations in the surrounding areas of Nangarhar , Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazni Paktika and Helmand provinces in which nine Taliban were killed, two wounded and 16 others arrested.
According to Interior Ministry’s Press Office, in these operations, thousands kg of explosives, 18 anti-vehicle mines, and other military equipment were discovered.
Another report says, the national police forces discovered and defused 18 anti-vehicle mines which were planted by oppositions in the relevant areas of Takhar and Urozgan provinces.

Police Forces Kill Three Insurgents

Lashkarga (BNA) three armed insurgents were killed and another arrested as a result of the Taliban attack on police posts in Nahersaraj district of Helmand province.
Mohammad Ismael Hotak, police chief of Helmand said, the Taliban  attacked on three security police posts in the Seragoder area, Nahersaraj district, in which three insurgents were killed and another arrested by police forces.
According to Ismael Hotak, during in this attack, 2 Kalashnikovs and a rocket launcher were seized.
Hotak said, there was no harm among police forces.
According to another report, three armed militants were killed during an operation launched by the national army forces in the relevant areas of Maidan-Wardak province.
According to national defense ministry’s press office, the national army forces conducted a cleansing operation for arresting of the Taliban leaders in the Ismaelkhail village, Jalrez district of Maidan-Wardak province as a result of which, three militants were killed and four others wounded.

Maimana (BNA) a 30 members group of the Taliban was joined to peace process in Faryab province the day before yesterday.
Ghulam Sakhi an official of the  National Security Department of Faryab said the group led by Sarajuddin, carried out activities against government in the surrounding areas of Pashtonkot district of Farayb province, they giving up violence and joined peace process.
He added, this group surrendered a PK machine gun, 2 rocket launchers and 27 Kalashnikovs to government.
According to Ghulam Sakhi, chairman of peace council and a number of state authorities appreciated the mentioned group.

Pakistani Taliban Kill

Ghazni (BNA) four armed Taliban while making a mine killed in Jochahai village, Ander district of Ghazni province the day before yesterday.
Nazifullah Sultani, an official of the police unit No: 23 said these four  Taliban were Pakistani who were busy on making a roadside mine in a mosque where they were killed in explosion of their own mine.
According to Sultani, in the explosion the mosque has been martyred.

Farah (BNA) Taliban killed a driver of a road Construction Company and wounded two workmen of the company in Farah province last night.
Abdul Qayoom Angar, police chief of Farah said the Taliban attacked Paiman private company office which is located in the Nedami Laman region center of Farah province in which a driver of the company was martyred and two workers of the company wounded.
According to Angar, the Taliban after the attack set on fire 28 vehicles of the company.
It is said that, the company was working on ring road gravelling part in Badghis province.

Taliban Senior Commander Kills

Kabul (BNA) a senior commander of the Taliban along with his two guards killed by the National Army Forces in Kandahar province yesterday.
The National Defense Ministry spokesman office said, Edrees, a senior commander of the Taliban who was responsible for planning of terrorist attacks and providing military equipment for insurgents in Panjwaie district of Kandahar province, killed along with two of his guards.
The National Army forces discovered and seized weapons, military equipment and a quantity of explosive devices from the area.

National Army Soldiers Martyr

Kabul (BNA) four National Army Soldiers martyred in explosion of mines in Helmand province the day before yesterday.
According to the National Defense Ministry’s Press Office, these soldiers martyred during their security missions in Kajaki and Sangeen districts of Helmand province.
Meanwhile, three other soldiers of the National Army Forces martyred in explosion of roadside mines during their security missions in Ghazni, Logar and Maidan-Wardak provinces.

Twelve Armed Militants killed

Pul-e-Alam (BNA) twelve armed militants killed in the relevant areas of Logar province the day before yesterday.
Deen Mohammad Darwesh, spokesmanfor the  governor of Logar said, a clash occurred between Afghan security forces and militants in the Babos area, Logar province, 12 militants killed and 2 others arrested.
Raes Khan Sadeq, the Police Chief of Logar said, in this clash, the NATO air forces also attacked on hideouts of militants.
According to him, there was no harm among the Afghan Security Forces.

Maidan-Shaher (BNA) an entertaining park for children will be constructed in Maidan-Wardak province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for the governor of Maidan-Wardak said the entertaining park will be constructed in the area of 25600 square meter of land from the developmental budget of Maidan-Shaher municipality at the cost of   12 million Afghanis.
In a ceremony held for laying foundation stone of the park ,Abdul Majid Khogyani, governor of Maidan-Wardak said, today’s children are  the men and the women of the future of country, so it is necessary  to safeguard the children.
Meanwhile, Nazer Ahmad Hemat, acting mayor of Maidan-Shaher said fortunately it is the first entertaining park which will be built from the budget of the municipality and equipped with all recreational facilities.
This is in a time while some days ago, the construction work of an entertaining park for women was also started in that province.
