Kabul (BNA) During the past 24 hours 5 armed insurgents were killed in Afghan security forces airstrikes in Kunduz province.
Atal 201 national army press office stated BNA, Afghan air troops led airstrikes on Taliban’s stance in Buz-Kandahari and Hazrat-Sultan areas of Kunduz province in which 5 insurgents were killed, 12 wounded and some weapons and ammunitions have been destroyed.
Also a remote control mines discovered and defused from Ghormach district of Faryab province.
According to another report, three rebels were killed during the Atal 205 National army corps operation in Khakraiz district of Kandahar province.
Atal 205 national army corps press office quoted BNA, in the operation 3 rebels were killed, 4 wounded, a Kalashnikov and two communication means seized.
Also two mines discovered and neutralized from Shenki district of Zabul province.

Kabul (BNA) In a massive attacks of Taliban on security posts in Nejrab district, 3 local policemen were martyred, local officials of Kapisa says.
Qais Qaderi spokesman for Kapisa governor told BNA, armed rebels conducted attack on local security posts of the province late last night.
It has been said, in the clash Taliban sustained casualties but the exact figure is unknown.

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) As a result of an explosion, Zemarai a local police commander was martyred with his two colleagues and 4 civilians were wounded in Kholm district of Balkh province.
Abdul Razaq Qaderi security in-charge of Balkh told BNA, that local police commander Zemarai was martyred with his two men and 4 others were wounded.
Meanwhile Sayed Ebrahim Hashimi governor district of Kholm said, the explosives were placed in a motorcycle to target local police commander Zemarai.
He was key commander of uprising people in border of Kunduz and Balkh. Several times he was appreciated by local officials of Balkh province.

Charikar City (BNA) Advisor for public health department of Parwan province was abducted by unidentified gunmen other day.
Samandar Sakandari district governor of Jabulsaraj told BNA correspondent, Dr. Safiullah advisor for public health department of the province, while moving toward his house was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in relevant areas of Jabulsaraj district of the province.
So for the identity of abductors is not clear, but investigation underway regarding the case, Sakandari added.
Sakandari while expressed his concern about the event asked security officials to release Dr. Safiullah from grip of the kidnappers as soon as possible.

Kabul (BNA) A key Taliban fighter expert in making magnetic bombs was arrested by the Afghan intelligence operatives in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of Nangarhar province. The National Directorate of Security (NDS) in a statement said the detained militant has been identified as Baryalai son of Mohammad Jalat Khan.
The statement further added that Baryalai was expert in making magnetic bombs besides he was conducting other insurgency activities including target killings and bombings.
Baryalai was looking to transport 6 magnetic bombs to Jalalabad city to target the civilian and military vehicles when he was arrested from Shah Amanullah town. According to NDS, the intelligence operatives also confiscated two pistols with silencers from Baryalai.
The anti-government armed militant groups including the Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far. This comes as the Taliban militants have stepped up magnetic bombings in key cities of the country, including capital Kabul during the recent years. kp
In majority of such bombings, the ordinary civilians are targeted besides the magnetic bombings claims of the government officials and security personnel.

Kabul (BNA) At least 5 armed insurgents killed in airstrike led by Afghan security forces last night in Sar-e-Pul province.
Sar-e-Pul governor spokesman told BNA, Afghan air forces led air-raids in Laghman villages in which 5 insurgents were killed and 6 others were wounded.

Shaberghan City (BNA) Afghan security forces with cooperation of local people succeeded to discover and neutralize a roadside mine in northern Jawzjan province.
Sayera Shakib district governor of Faizabad said BNA correspondent, the mine had been planted by Taliban militants in Kokaldash region, Faizabad district of the province.
Taliban militants with planting roadside mines cause deadly incidents on innocent civilians and Afghan security forces around the country.
No one has been arrested accused of the bombing so far.

Herat City (BNA) A seller of narcotic drug was arrested by counter-narcotic police personnel in western Herat province the other day.
Commander of police in the province told BNA reporter, the seller was detained along with 30 packages of narcotic drug type of heroin and Shesha and now he is under investigation.
Also 14 people were arrested accused of criminal cases such as robbery, narcotic drug smuggling and telephone treatment in different parts of Herat province.

Jalalabad City (BNA) Up to 43 loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group have been killed during air and ground operations carried out by Afghan security forces in various parts of eastern Nangarhar province within the last 24 hours.
The operations were conducted in different parts of Achin, Koot and Rodat districts of the province.
Several hideouts and weapon storages of the terrorist group have been demolished following the air and ground operations, Khogyani added.
Casualties didn’t incur to civilians and Afghan security troops at the end of the operations.

Sar-e-Pul (BNA) 2 foreign nationals were arrested in a clearing operation conducted by security troops in Sar-e-Pul province yesterday.
Mohammad Taher Wahdat governor of Sar-e-Province in a press conference told Medias, the operation carried out in Sayad district, Sar-e-Pul province, four Taliban insurgents were also killed and three others were injured.
He added, in the operation, 2 foreign nationals have been arrested.
The arrested men confessed that they have learned terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
