Kabul (BNA) Voter list stolen by unknown men in a voting center located in Bibi Ayesha Durani High School, 12 precinct of Kabul city.
Mohammad Azim in-charge of the voting center told BNA reporter, the voter list has stolen by unidentified men.
10 polling sites exist in the voting center that five of the sites is belonged to men and 5 others is belonged to women, Azim added.
Observers also confirmed stealing of the voter list in the voting center.
Independent Election Commission announced that 8,918,000 voters have been registered and more than 2,500 candidates are in the run for 249 seats of Wolesi Jirga, including 417 women candidates.
Elections will not take place in eastern Ghazni province amid an ongoing dispute over how to divide its electoral constituencies to ensure a more balanced ethnic representation.
Independent election commission has postponed elections in Kandahar for a week, following a brazen attack on a high-profile security meeting there with a US delegation that killed at least two senior provincial officials, including the province’s police chief, Gen. Abdul Raqiz.

Kabul (BNA) Spokespersons of MoI, MoD, MoWA, IDLG and MoE appeared in a press conference at GMIC and assured people about the security of polling centers and requested people to use from the right and cast their votes.
According to BNA report, Najib Danesh, Spokesperson of MoI said that 4900 polling centers with more than 20,000 polling stations in 32 provinces of the country is open now with the exception of Kandahar and Ghazni, and 70,000 Afghan forces are assigned to ensure the security of Elections.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Defense spokesperson Said Ghafoor Ahmad Jawid assured security of elections and said the sensitive material of the election was handed over across the country.
This morning the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan casted his vote and started this national process.
In provinces, the governors and deputy governors have visited the polling centers in the early hours of the morning and have called on voters to cast their votes. Said Shah Saqim, IDLG spokesman said that currently voting is ongoing in 32 provinces of the country, and no problems have been reported yet.
The spokespersons from the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Ministry of Education also called on citizens, especially women, to use their voting rights at the polls.
Elections in Kandahar province have been delayed for a week, and soon the election date will be announced in Ghazni province.

Kabul (BNA) Four observers claimed that a Wolesi Jirga candidate filled several ballot boxes in his benefit in Kabul city.
According to BNA correspondent report, quarreling between Afghan security forces and Ghulam Nabi Gharani the candidate who filled ballot boxes is continuing in ballot center located in Qayamuddin Khadem School.
Meanwhile, spokesman of Independent Election Commission says, the issue will be reviewed by the commission.
The voting of Wolesi Jirga or Lower House of the parliament, began at 7:00 am local time and would last until 4:00 pm local time in 32 provinces except Ghazni and Kandahar provinces.

Gardiz (BNA) Conspiracy of Taliban for organizing an explosion near a voting center in Paktia has failed.
Security officials of Paktia discovered and defused a mob near a voting center in Abdsul Hai high school of Gardiz city.
Sardar Wali Tabasom police spokesman of Paktia told BNA, a bomb was planted near a voting center in Abdul Hai high school in Gardiz city.
He added the bomb timely discovered and defused by police technical team.
So far no individual or group has committed the responsibility of the failed bomb planting, but local sources blamed Taliban for the event.

Kabul (BNA) Clashes was happened between Afghan security forces and Taliban militants in northern Balkh province.
Col. Mohammad Hanif Rezayee spokesman of 209 Shaheen army corps reported BNA, the conflicts took place in relevant areas of Qashqar region, Chamtal district of the province, in which four armed oppositions belonged to Taliban group were killed.
12 other terrorists were wounded during the conflicts, the source added.

Jalalabad City (BNA) At least 20 adherents of ISIS terrorist group killed during latest attacks carried out by Afghan Special Forces (ASF) in vicinity of eastern Nangarhar province last night.
The terrorists have been targeted and killed in various parts of Acheen, Khogynai and Naziyan districts of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan National Army in the east of the country told BNA correspondent, air and ground raids carried out by Afghan Special Forces in different parts of the mentioned districts, in which 20 ISIS adherents were killed and their several hideouts along with some military equipment have been destroyed too.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating five round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent from a series of blast in Nangarhar province.
No one was arrested accused of the mine planting so far.

Tarinkot City (BNA) Five armed oppositions were killed during clashes with Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Urozgan province.
The clashes took place when Afghan security forces targeted terrorist’ hideout in relevant areas of Dehraoud district of the province.
Five anti-government militias were killed during the conflicts, a security source in Urozgan reported BNA,
The insurgents were involved on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities that targeted by Afghan security forces.
It has been said, there were no casualties on parts of civilians and Afghan security troops at the end of the conflicts.
