Asadabad (BNA) A series of blasts were prevented in east of the country.
Security officials discovered and confiscated 20 mines and bombs from crowded ways of Kunar, Nooristan, Laghman and Nangarhar provinces this morning.
ANA senior commander in Selab army corps in east of the country told BNA, no one has been arrested in connection of mine plantings.
Taliban mostly plant mines and bombs on crowded roads of the provinces, which victimized civilians.

QALAT CITY (BNA) As many as 36 rebels were killed and 17 others were wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces in southern Zabul province within the last 24 hours.
The armed oppositions have been targeted in various parts of Atghar and Daichopan district of the province.
Press office of Atal army corps in the south of the country told BNA reporter, 36 terrorists including their three local commanders were killed and 17 more were injured.
The clashes took place, while Afghan security forces stormed on Taliban’s hideouts in Atghar and Daichopan districts, Zabul province.
According to reports, six hideouts belonged to Taliban group along with all military equipment have been demolished during the attack.

TARINKOT CITY (BNA) At least five anti-government militias were killed and two others were wounded following attack carried out by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in southern Urozgan province.
The insurgents have been targeted, while they were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities in Tarinkot city the provincial capital of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, five militants were killed and two others were wounded during the attack.
There were no casualties on parts of civilians and Afghan security forces at the end of the attack.

Ferozkoh (BNA) The local officials of Ghor province say, dozens of Taliban militants were killed in clearing operations of security troops which was launched for reopening Ghor-Herat highway during the past days.
Abdul Hai Khatebi spokesman for Ghor governor told BNA, the operations was launched by security forces of Ghor-Herat highway in Shahrak District, 100 Taliban militants were killed and number of others were injured.
Numerous of weapons were seized by security forces in the operations.
