Kabul (BNA)  President Hamid Karzai has strongly condemned the aerial bombing by the international forces that killed a number of innocent civilians in Zheri district of southern Kandahar province.
Initial reports as stated by the district sub-governor himself indicate that an air strike carried out by the international forces in Siacha village in Zheri district killed seven persons including six children and injured another two young girls.
President Karzai was saddened when he heard the news and designated a team to fully investigate the incident and would then, consistent to the recommendations of the Traditional Loya Jirga, announce the government’s position.
President Karzai expresses his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prays for a rapid recovery of those injured.

Kabul (BNA) Military cooperation between Afghanistan and Jordon especially in learning of female soldiers was increased. 
Chief of staff of national defense ministry said approximately 100 Afghan soldiers has been trained in Jordon in 2007. 
Currently, female experts of Jordon train female soldiers of Afghanistan defense ministry.  
In a function 13 women after getting military trainings were joined to national army forces. 
This is the 3rd round of graduation of female soldiers which got military trainings by Jordanian experts. 
The number of Afghan female officers and soldiers has been reached to 336 persons. 
Mariam Yosofi a trained Afghan solider said we are happy that we received military trainings by Muslim Jordanian experts.   Translated by Suraya-Yarzada

Kabul (BNA) 72 youths received military trainings to recruit in local police contingents in Pul-i-Khomri city.  
These youths received military trainings by foreign experts within one month. 
Ahmad Jaweed Basharat spokesman of Baghlan security commandment said to this news agency, these youths introduced for ensuring security in different parts of this province.  
According to him, foreign experts trained 172 youths for local police in the center of Baghlan province till now.

Kabul (BNA) Afghan forces in Urozgan province reported from arresting of two armed Taliban today. 
According to reports, these Taliban were detained on charges of terrorist attacks from Sorab area, Chora district of Urozgan province. 
An official of police forces in Urozgan said to this news agency that a quantity of explosive materials and two roadside mines were seized from the arrested men.  Translated by Suraya-Yarzada
