Zaranj (BNA) 5 tons narcotics and acid used for making roadside mines were set to ablaze the other day in Nimroz province. 
According to Colonel Rasooli, police chief of Nimroz, the stuffs include 3.5 tons narcotics and 1.5 tons acid which were used for making roadside mines and explosives. 
The source added the stuffs which had been seized as a result of operation launched by Afghan security forces in outskirts of some districts of Nimroz province were set to fire on Friday in front of deputy minister Baz Mohammad, deputy of governor for Nimroz, prosecutors and genera directors of government institutions.

Kandahar (BNA) A man said to burn copies of Holy Quran and Arab Taliban’s graveyard based in Kandahar was arrested by police. 
The individual admitted during preliminary enquiry that due to order of armed Taliban he wanted to set fire copies of the Holy Quran and the Arab Taliban’s graveyard in order that the Afghan people express their anger against foreign forces and Afghan government. 
The graveyard of Arab Taliban killed in fighting with US forces is based in Zheri district of Kandahar province. 
The individual also said he thought that by burning copies of the Holy Quran and the graveyard, the people would accuse Afghan government and foreign forces of the act. 
According to Dr. Toryali Weesa, governor of Kandahar, the individual who was taking the step of burning of Zheri district was arrested by police. 
He had told the police he wanted to make the people stand against foreign forces and the government after setting fire the Holy Quran and the graveyard. 
The arrest of the individual came a week after continuous demonstrations launched by Afghan people in different parts of the country against US forces accused of burning copies of the Holy Quran in Bagram.

Nangarhar (BNA) four armed Taliban rebels were killed in clash by NATO forces in Nangarhar province last night.  This clash occurred in the Chardehi area, Batikot district when Armed Talban attacked on patrol convoy of NATO forces.  Ahmad Zeya Abdulzai spokesman governor of Nangarhar province said to BNA, in clash between them four armed Taliban have been killed.  Abdulzai said that NATO forces had no casualties in this clash.  According to spokesman governor of Nangarhar, the bodies of the killed Taliban have been transferred to Jalalabad hospital.  T. Urozgan (BNA) an officials of National Security of Urozgan province was killed by unknown men today.  Hashim Khan, who worked in his farm in the outskirts of Trenkot city, came under attack by two unknown men and killed.  A source of the national security of Urozgan in contact to BNA confirmed this event and said investigation started for arresting of the attackers.  Hashim Khan worked as delegation of national security of Urozgan province in joined operation center of Afghan and NATO forces.  T.
