Kabul (BNA) The claim by Taliban that the second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili was injured has been rejected.
However, a statement of presidential palace said that the motorcade of Khalili came under attack in Ghorband but the attackers fled away when the security guards opened fire.
It has merit to mention that the second vice president returned Kabul from Bamyan by plane on Saturday evening.

Kabul (BNA) Held at the presidential palace, the meeting was also attended by first vice-president, chairmen of both houses of parliament, chairman of the defense and international relations commissions of the parliament.
The participants discussed important security and political issues of Afghanistan and the region, probable threats on the border regions of the country and necessary decisions were adopted. 
President Karzai instructed that in order further coordinate security decisions, hereafter on the need basis, the chairmen of both houses of parliament should also participate in the National Security Council meetings.
General Besmellah Mohammadi Minister of National Defense informed the council on the deployment of the national army forces as well as the decisions of the ministry in respect to reviewing of forces deployment on the highways and border regions. 
Meanwhile, the meeting assessed deployment of the units of the national army in the Lawara of Gayan of Paktia province and Dawlat Shah District of Laghman and necessary instructions were issued.

Kunduz (BNA) Security authorities said, a well-known commander of Haqani Network with four armed Taliban killed this morning in Kunduz province.
It is said, these rebels were killed in operation of Afghan Commando Forces in Darkmar village of Khanabad district in Kunduz province.
Enayatullah Khaleeq spokesman of Kunduz governor confirming the report said to BNA, Qoraishe was a well-known member of Haqani network in Kunduz province who was involved in terrorist attacks on security forces, roadside mining, kidnapping and attacks on foreign caravans.
In this operation the Afghan forces and civilians had no casualties.
Khaleeq added, four heavy and light weapons have been seized from the killed rebels.

Aibak (BNA) Five terrorists were arrested in an operation of National Security Forces in Samangan province. 
A source of national security Dept. of Samangan said to BNA, Mehrabuddin, Mullah Nasratullah, Lal Mohammad, Mohammad Ibrahim and Mullah Saifullah residents from Dara-i-Sof of Samangan involved in several terrorist and destructive activities, were arrested by the national security forces. 
According to the source, they are under investigation of police.
