Chekhcheran (BNA) Local authorities of Ghor province reported from killing of four armed Taliban in Saghar district of that province.
Abdul Hai Khateb spokesman of Ghor governor told this news agency, a number of armed Taliban attacked on security patrol of Saghar district last midnight and clash took place between the sides.
According to Khateb, in this clash, the security forces had no casualties, but four armed Taliban were killed.

Kabul (BNA) During the operations of Afghan security forces a number of armed insurgents killed yesterday.
The press office of Interior Ministry told BNA, the Afghan and coalition forces in six joint operations in related areas of Nuristan, Zabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazni and Herat provinces killed 13 armed Taliban, injured two and arrested 33 others.
According to the source, in these operations, a number of light and heavy weaponries of the insurgents which included a pistol, 150 different types of bullets, 16 different types of weapons, a hand bomb, 8 mines, 30 gallons full of explosive materials, 3 motorbikes and a vehicle have been seized by security forces.
According to another report, police forces discovered a BM-1 warhead and two mines from related areas of Maidan-Wardak province.
These ammunitions were placed by state oppositions in the related areas of that province were discovered by police forces.

Kabul (BNA) Tens of foreign countries are behind terror attacks including suicide bombings in Afghanistan, spokesman for the national directorate, Shanfiqullah Tahiri said yesterday.
Addressing a news conference, he said that the personnel of the national directorate for security have foiled terrorist attacks in different parts of the country.
He also noted that 241 suicide bombers have been arrested over the past two years and thus the security apparatus have thwarted several terrorist attacks including attempts on the lives of first vice president, second vice president, parliamentarian, Balkh governor Atta Mohammad Noor, Abdul Rabe Rasoul Sayaf and many more.
The spokesman also said that five terrorists of Mawlawi Nurudin the shadowy governor of Takhar had been arrested recently, adding 52 kg explosive substance and four suicide vests were seized from their possession and thus a terror attack in Takhar was foiled.
Seven more terrorists were apprehended in Kunduz province.
Tahiri further said, adding the personnel of the national directorate for security also captured the shadowy governor of Taliban in Koh-e-Safi of Parwan, Mawlawi Ruhullah very recently, saying the mentioned Mawlawi after receiving training came from Pakistan to conduct subversive activities.
The official also pointed out that the organizer of terror attacks in Herat was also detained along with 10 kg explosive material recently.

Kabul (BNA)) General Commander of coalition forces in Afghanistan says that presently the Afghan security forces are carrying 40% of military operations.
In his latest assertions General John Allen spoke over the ability of the Afghan security forces and added that presently these forces are implementing almost 40% of military operations inside the country.
Though he seems happy over the delivering of the security responsibility and the ability of the Afghan forces, however, he emphasizes that still many remains that should be done so that the Afghan forces become pioneer in designing and implementing of military operations and this way they achieve more activities.
He noted that during the coming 29 months that foreign forces are leaving Afghanistan this will be necessary that the Afghan forces should carry all its operations alone and this will be possible in true and hopefully till the first of October of current year these forces should reach 352,000.
He added that we should prepare more positive activities and that before we leave we have make secure the insecure areas and deliver to them. We have started summer military operations so that the insurgents are forced back from the populated regions and make the areas surrounding the capital more secure and we need to organized more operations in the east of the country where presently the insurgents maintain their presence.
These operations will be designed and implemented by the Afghans another issue that the commander pointed to it was the training of the Afghan forces.
He says that there is need for five thousand specialists for training of the Afghan forces and cow it is 20% kisser than what we have specified.
Touching on the withdrawal of the US forces John Allen said that of the 23,000 US forces that is expected to leave Afghanistan during the current year almost half of these forces have left Afghanistan and the remaining will leave here till the month of August and September.
The soldiers Allen spoke in of 33,000 US soldiers who were sent to Afghanistan by Barack Obama and 10,000 of them already left Afghanistan.
