Kabul (BNA) The national army personnel and coalition forces in several mopping up operations in some provinces of the country killed 12 armed oppositions and detained 21 others yesterday. 
National defense ministry press office said to BNA, the mentioned operations carried out in the vicinities of Kandahar, Logar, Nangarhar, Helmand, Khost, Zabul, Farah and Urozgan provinces, in which 12 armed opposition were killed and 21 others have been detained. 
In these operations, 9 motorbikes, an 82 mm gun, 40 Kalashnikovs, 2 PK machine guns, 2 grenades, a set of communication means, a pistol and a quantity of light arms were seized by these forces. 
Meanwhile, the national army personnel discovered and defused 41 anti-vehicle mines and 2 sacks of hashish from vicinities of Kandahar and Zabul provinces.

Gardez (BNA) As many as 1200 trainees passed out on completion of a two-month military training in southeastern Paktia province, an official said. 
The passing-out parade was held at the Regional Training Centre of the 203rd Thunder Military Corps in Gardeq, the provincial capital. 
The graduates would be deployed to the southeastern zone, the 203rd Thunder Military Corps spokesman, Saad Gul Hotak, said to this news agency.
Happy over the completion of his training, graduate Zaro Khan from Nangarhar said it was an honor to serve the Afghan army. “I will willingly sacrifice my life for the nation.” 
Twenty-six batches have already graduated from the centre and posted in various parts of the country.

Kabul (BNA) General Director of National Security Department, Governor of Central Bank and a member of the commission for supervision on implementation of Constitution obtained the vote of confidence of Deputies of House of People. 
Eng. Rehmatullah Nabeel, Noorullah Delawari and Abdul Muneeb Danesh received the majority vote of the House of People. 
Eng. Rehmatullah Nabbel candidate to the post of National Security Department, Noorullah Delawari candidate to the post of Governor of Central Bank and Abdul Muneeb Danesh candidate to the post of member of commission for supervision of implementation of Constitution were introduced by the government. 
Chaired by Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the House of People heard the basic working policy of the candidates and after voting Eng.  Rehmatullah got 208 votes, Noorullah Delawari got 173 votes and Abdul Muneeb Danesh has got 155 votes.

Kandahar (BNA) 8 armed Taliban militants were captured on Friday night in a clearing operation conducted by Afghan police in Khakriz district of Kandahar province. 
According to Kandahar governor office, the operation was launched by police forces in Abasabad area of Khakriz district, resulted in capturing eight armed Taliban militants. 
The source said 7 mines, 2 grenades, 1AK-47 rifle and some narcotics were seized in the operation.
