Kabul (BNA) A commander of Haqani network was arrested in Paktika province today. 
The identity of this commander has not clear but he was arrested in a military operation of Afghan and NATO forces from outskirts of Soroobi district.
According to NATO press statement, this commander controlled a large group of insurgents and conducted attacks against Afghan and coalition security forces in this district. 
According to NATO, in this operation several other rebels of Haqani network with a number of arms have been arrested. 
The statement said nothing about casualties of Afghan and NATO forces in this operation.

Laghman (BNA) A local commander of armed Taliban was killed in NATO air bombardment in Laghman province yesterday. 
This attack of NATO took place on hideouts of this local commander of Taliban in the outskirts of Alishing district. 
Press office of American forces in Bagram confirming this bombardment said this attack carried out on hideouts of this commander and had no civilian casualties.

Kabul (BNA) The security personnel of Kabul province seized 20 kg of hashish from Dasht Saqawa area last night. 
General Mohammad Zahir criminal head of Kabul said to BNA, police seized 20 kg of hashish in an operation from Dasht Saqawa and Charasyab. 
The culprits of this case had not yet been identified and police effort to arrest them. 
Meanwhile, police of Kabul arrested a narcotic seller with 15 packets of heroin from 3rd district of Kabul city.

Helmand (BNA) The social council of Nawa district came under suicide attack in which the suicidal with three other attackers was killed.  
This event occurred yesterday noon, when a suicide bomber using police uniform wanted to enter into a session of social council of Nawa district. 
Daud Ahmadi spokesman of Helmand governor said to BNA, the security guards of this district asked the attacker to stop but he exploded himself. 
Ahmadi said three other attackers were killed in this event as well. 
It is said the attack had no military and civilian casualties.
