Kabul (BNA): President Karzai strongly condemned the terrorist targeted the convoy of Mohammad Mohaqeq a parliament member that killed and wounded some innocent civilians.
According to information received from interior ministry last morning the convoy of this parliament member come under terrorist attack of Afghan enemies in 3rd precinct of Kabul city that left three people martyred and injured several.
President Karzai while strongly denouncing the attack said the Afghan nation enemies by conducting such inhumane act once again demonstrated that aliens and circles loyal to them strive to martyr elders and political personalities of Afghanistan.
The President also had a telephonic conversation with Mohd. Mohaqeq on the incident and conveyed his sympathy with him on those killed and wounded in the incident.
Hamid Karzai expresses his deep condolences to the martyr families and wish speedy health recovery to the injured of the incident.

Farah (BNA) a Taliban commander was killed in air attack by NATO in Farah province last night.
Abdul Rahman Zwandou , spokesman for Farah governor said BNA, Mullah Taj Mir commander of Taliban was killed as a result of air attack of NATO  forces in the Shewan village, Balabalok district.
Zhwandou said, a quantity of weapons was seized in the operation.
In this operation the security forces and civilians received no harmed.

Kandahar (BNA) eight Taliban mine planters were killed by NATO air attack in Kandahar province last night.
Jaweed Faisal spokesman for Kandahar governor said BNA, the attack carried out in the Kesighara area, Shahwalikot district, in which 8 Taliban mine planters were killed while planting mines in a busy road.
According to Faisal, 10 mines, 5 Kalashnikovs, 3 sets of communication and 4 motorcycles were seized from the site of the incident.  

The Afghan and coalition security force killed two extremists during an operation in search of a senior Haqqani leader in Zurmat district, Paktia province, yesterday.
The senior leader maintains operational control over a group of extremists responsible for attacks against Afghan and coalition forces. He also facilitates the movement of suicide bombers and improvised explosive devices and components in Zurmat district.
In other news throughout Afghanistan:
The Afghan and coalition security forces confirmed today the arrest of a Taliban leader during an operation in Sar-e-Pul district, Sar-e-Pul province, Sunday.
The leader oversees a group of fighters responsible for attacks against Afghan and coalition forces. He also facilitates the movement of weapons throughout northern Afghanistan and collects illegal taxes from civilians in order to fund extremist activities.
The Afghan Provincial Response Company in the Uruzgan province disrupted an extremist operation in which one enemy of Afghanistan was killed and six others arrested. As a result of the operation two caches of weapons and explosive devices were recovered preventing future improvised explosive device attacks against Afghan and coalition forces including possible civilian injuries or deaths.
A combined operation between Afghan and coalition security forces resulted in three successful operations against extremists in Helmand province, Saturday. The operations yielded the confiscation of several Afghan Uniformed Police uniforms and caches of weapons and explosive materials to be used in attacks against Afghan and coalition forces. Four enemies of Afghanistan were arrested who are also suspected of the kidnapping and ransoming of local Afghans.
According to another report, the Afghan and coalition security forces confirmed today the arrest of a senior Haqqani leader during an operation in Sayeed Karam district, Paktiya province, June 18.
The senior leader coordinates and executes attacks against Afghan and coalition forces. He also oversees the distribution and transportation of lethal aid for use in extremist attacks and interfaces directly with top Haqqani officials in order to communicate strategic guidance to front-line fighters.
The Afghan National Army Special Forces, advised by Coalition Forces, detained five enemies of Afghanistan in Bala Boluk district, Farah province, June 17.
The targeted operation degraded the local extremist network and their ability to attack or negatively influence Afghan forces and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the district. The detainees are currently in custody of the National Directorate of Security.
