Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai chaired a meeting with judicial and law enforcement officials to discuss matters concerning the full transfer, to Afghan government, of Bagram prison authority and the future of its prisoners.
The meeting was held after the completion of the two month timeline that president Karzai had agreed with at the proposal of US president for the full transfer of the prison.
The meeting began by hearing reports by the Attorney general and the Military Police Commander, where it said that even prisoners who were presumed innocent by the court are still being held. 
In addition, there are people who, against the provisions of the MoU already signed, are newly imprisoned by the American forces.
Calling the status quo a serious breach of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Afghanistan and the United State, the president assigned the Minister of defense, the attorney general, and the chief commander of Bagram prison to take all required and urgent measures to ensure a full Afghanistan of the prison affairs and a complete transfer of its authority.
President Karzai further instructed the officials to put into action every practical measure for the enforcement of Afghanistan laws and implementation of the MoU on Bagram Prison Transfer and to report back to the President.

Balkh (BNA) Mine explosion martyred a local police man and injured six others including two civilians in Balkh province.
The event occurred in the bazaar of Balkh district at 3:00pm today.
It is said that a woman with her child included among the injured persons of this event.
Temor Shah Pahez governor of Balkh district of Balkh province in a telephone contact confirming the report said, in this incident a local police was martyred and four others policemen with two civilians were injured.
He said, the two injured civilians are a woman with her child who came to the bazaar for shopping.
District governor of Balkh called Taliban responsible of mine planting.
Meanwhile doctors in a health center of Balkh district called the health condition of two injured persons critical.

Kabul (BNA) A local commander of Taliban arrested in a military operation in Logar province.
This commander in his hideout was making a number of terrorist plans came under the attack of Afghan-NATO forces and arrested.
BNA quoting from a press statement of NATO said, the arrested commander had organized terrorist attacks of Taliban in some parts of Logar province.
In this operation an ammunition and narcotic cache of Taliban has been seized by Afghan forces.

Kabul (BNA) Nine armed Taliban killed and 20 others detained in separate operations of Afghan and coalition forces in the vicinities of Kabul, Kunar, Helmand, Daikundi, Faryab, Urozgan and Farah provinces. 
According to the source, these Taliban had active role in several terrorist and destructive attacks. 
1495 kg of narcotics, 6 Kalashnikovs, 2 PK machine guns, a rocket launcher, a set of communication, 5 warheads, 12 mines, 4 motorbikes and a car of enemies were seized by these forces.
