Kandahar (BNA) The Kandahar police killed two mine planters in Panjwahi district of that province.
Security commander of Kandahar commandment told this news agency, these men wanted to plant a mine on the road of Noori village, Panjwahi district have been identified by police and while escaping from the area were shot to dead by security forces.
In another event in Arghistan district of that province, three mine planters have been victim of their own mine.
Security commander of that province said, the mentioned persons while planting a mine in related areas of Arghistan near the Takhtapol district, their mine exploded and killed them.

Kabul (BNA) The interior ministry has warned police drivers to respect driving rules and regulations, otherwise, the violators to be punished.
The aim of imposing this restriction is to apply the traffic law on police personnel, interior ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said. The decision, according to the people has been taken in the wake of road accidents by police drivers.
According to statistics, the police drivers have been involved in 50 cases of road accidents over the past three months.
Sacking from police rank, fine and referring to court are among the punishments considered for police drivers who violate the driving rule, Sediqi said, adding police mobile teams patrolling the roads to monitor driving rules violated by police.
He also said that police have intensified operations against kidnapping and drug trafficking.
According to interior ministry officials some 40,000 Afghans have been smuggled abroad through Turkey and unfortunately some of them lost their lives on way to Greece.

Kabul (BNA) The security organs of the country have foiled three terrorist plots on the day of holding of conference of Heart of Asia in Kabul.
The terrorist network intended carry on a serial suicide operations during the holding of the conference in Kabul, Kandahar and Kunduz provinces but their attempts were foiled by the national security department.
A member of the press bureau of the national security department confirmed that terrorists had planned some programs in the three provinces to be carried on the day of holding of the conference, including attack on the training center of national army in the east of Kabul, organizing of a suicide attempt by using a rickshaw in Boldak of Kandahar and carrying of a series of attacks in Kunduz province on that day.
It is said that 11 persons were arrested in this connection and their confessions indicate that the arrested terrorists as before were trained and dispatched to Afghanistan from Pakistan.
Also a national from the central Asian country having ties with the terrorist groups has been arrested from the old city of Faizabad of Badakhshan and he is member of Tehrike Ansarullah of Tajikistan Taliban.
He confirmed that the Taliban and its terrorist network in North Waziristan, Miram Shah including the Al-Qaeda network and Sarajuddin Haqani intend that by using the services of foreigners from the Central Asian countries carry on terrorist activities in Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
The meeting of the countries of the Heart of Asia was held in presence of 25 countries last Thursday in Kabul.

Herat (BNA) A commander of armed militants namely Abdul Latif along with nine of his men joined peace process in Herat province yesterday, a security official said.
According to the official, the group was active in Karukh district and with joining these people to the peace process; the security situation will be further improved on Heart-Badghis road.
So far this year 584 armed militants have joined peace process in Herat province.
