Kabul (BNA) Twenty six people including two police and an employee of national directorate for security were injured as a suicide attacker riding a bicycle blew himself up in Bandar Andkhoi Chauk area yesterday, provincial police Chief Abdul Aziz Ghairat said.
Meantime head of public health department in the province, doctor Haidary said 10 of the injured people are in critical condition.
Several vehicles were burned and 10 shops damaged.
Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai strongly denounced the killing of a woman who was shot to death in Ghorband district of Parwan province and termed the act a heinous and unforgivable crime.
Recently, a number of criminals shot, in public, a woman to death in Shinwari area of Ghorband district of Parwan province.
The shooting footage unveiled another formidable crime committed in the country, where the people of Afghanistan wished not to see such acts repeated after collapse of the Taliban regime.
Condemning the act in the strongest possible terms, the President said, “The murder of a woman who has had no voice to raise for her self-defense against the weapon and brutality of a number of criminals is a clear symbol of the cowardice and wickedness of her murderers”.
He added, “Such a crime is unforgivable in the sacred religion of Islam and the laws of the country”.
Having found about the crime, the President, who is currently on a visit to Japan, instructed the security officials not to spare any efforts in arresting and punishing the perpetrators.

Kabul (BNA) Two local commanders Haqani network were arrested in the country today.
The identities of these commanders have not disclosed, were arrested as a result of NATO and Afghan joint operation in Musa Qala district of Helmand province and Maidan Shaher city.
According to NATO press release, these commanders were captured while organizing terrorist attacks.
The arrested commanders are accused of tens terrorist attacks on NATO and Afghan forces.
NATO says during the operation some terrorist rebels were arrested with their weapons.

Kabul (BNA) 17 terrorist Taliban were killed, four injured and two captured during the clearing up operations by security forces.
In the last 24 hours, the security forces had conducted 17 joint operations in Kunar, Laghman, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Kandahar, Zabul, Ggazni, Farah and Helmand provinces, in which 17 armed Taliban killed, four injured and two arrested.
Also during the operations 2517 kg narcotics, 24 different types of  weapons, a rocket launcher, 13 heavy weapons, 600 light weapons ballets, 4 mines, 200 kg explosives materials, 4 suicide vests and 12 motorcycles were seized by these forces.
