Kabul (BNA) The attorney General Office said that Hayatullah Dayani former director along with 12 other employees of Pashtany Bank have been arrested. 
They are accused of embezzlement of Afs 35 million capital of the bank. 
General Abubakr Rafie deputy head of the attorney general office in struggle against corruption affairs addressing a press conference said that the former director of Pashtany Bank in accordance with the order of President Karzai had transferred USD 132 million in 1389 and had loaned to 70 companies, some of the companies having activity permits returned the loaned money but Afs. 35 million of the loaned money was not returned to the bank. 
He added that the investigations showed that Afs 35 million were recorded in the name of companies having no legal permits and their place of activity were not known as well and they were not registered at the AISA as well. 
The source adds that evidence exists that Afs. 35 million capital of the bank have been divided among Dayani and his 12 colleagues. 
He stresses that the accused have registered several homes on forged basis as guarantee for the loaned money while no such property exists. 
He noted that corruptions are high in the banks and this is not good news indeed. 
He attributes this to the low control regime of the banks within the finance ministry. 
He noted that unless the embezzled money is not returned to the treasury the accused will remain behind the bars.

Kabul (BNA) A senior police officer, Ziyarat Gol Ajans escaped an explosion occurred close to  his vehicle on Sunday, police said. 
“The is not clear yet whether the explosion targeted Mr. Ajans,” Khost Police Chief, Sardar Mohammad Zazai said to BNA. 
“His vehicle and the shops around were destroyed.”  Nobody, including Taliban has claimed the attack responsibility.

KABUL: Up to 18 Afghans were killed or wounded by a rogue American soldier who opened fire on civilians in southern Kandahar province, governor of Qandar Provece said Sunday.

"What we know at this stage is that there have been casualties in two villages

Dr,Wesa Governor of Qandahr Provence said to BNA.
"A delegation has been sent to find out how this has happened as well as to determine the dead and injured."

The soldier has been detained, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement.

"A United States service member was detained today in connection to an incident that resulted in Afghan casualties in Kandahar province," it said, without specifying the number of victims.

"This is a deeply regrettable incident and we extend our thoughts and concerns to the families involved," ISAF said.

"US Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A), in cooperation with Afghan authorities, will investigate this incident and release additional information as appropriate."

Kabul (BNA) Two ANA soldiers have been killed in western province of the country.
According to Afghan ministry of national defense, the two soldiers were killed in Balabluk district of that province.
The source didn’t give further details related to the death of the soldiers, but said two other ANA soldiers have sustained injuries in Barmal district of Paktika province.
Meanwhile, Afghan national army forces in separate operations discovered nearly 32 mines in the outskirts of Trinkot, Urzgan, Zheri of Kandahar, Delarm of Nimroz and Girwy of Ghazni provinces.
