Helmand (BNA) Five civilians were martyred and at least 7 others of them were wounded in explosion of a mine in Helmand province. 
This event occurred in Nawa district when a vehicle of civilians struck with planted mine. 
Daud Ahmadi spokesman of Helmand governor in a contact with BNA confirmed this report and said in this event five civilians were martyred and several others were wounded. 
According to Ahmadi, among the victims and injured, women and children are included. 
Spokesman of Helmand governor called Taliban responsible of planted mine. 
Meanwhile doctors in a health center of Nawa district called the health condition of three injured critical.

Kabul (BNA) Security forces discovered a weapon cache of Taliban in Angil district of Herat province yesterday, an official with the national directorate for security said here yesterday.
The militants have used to make bomb from the contents of the cache which includes mines, bullets and explosive devices to target security forces.
No one has been arrested in this regard while efforts are underway to trace the culprits.
According to another report, 82 soldiers and sergeants of the national army after completion of one-year literacy course become literate and can read write in the military training center of Herat.

Kabul (BNA) five civilians were martyred in mine blast in Urozgan province yesterday noon.  It is said the victims are two women, two girls, a man all of members of a family.  This event occurred in the vicinities of Dehrarod district when a car of civilians struck with planted mine.  Fareed Ayel spokesman of police in Urozgan said to BNA, these member of family with their private car going to center  of Dehrarod district which  were targeted by planted mine by Taliban rebels and killed.  The UNO with a report declared that more than civilians in Afghanistan were lost their lives in planted mines by rebels recently.

Paktia (BNA) a commander who organized suicide attack in Paktia province last year was arrested in a military operation in that province today.  The identity of this commander of Taliban rebels had not clear, he was arrested from his hideout in operation of Afghan and NATO militaries in the outskirts of Syeedkaram district.  According to NATO press statement; this commander of rebels was organized blood suicide attack in the Samkani district of Paktia province which caused killing of number Afghan militaries.  In this operation, a rebel was killed and numbers of them have been arrested.  According to NATO, the civilians had no casualties in this operation.
