Kabul (BNA) 11 armed Taliban rebels were killed in a clash with police in Nangarhar province yesterday.
The Shamshad 202 police zone press office said to BNA, these Taliban militias were killed when the governor of Hesarak district of Nangarhar province came under their attack.
In the clash with guards of the governor, 11 oppositions were killed, one arrested and four guards of Hesarak district governor were wounded.

Kabul (BNA) The Afghan security forces including National Army and Police (ANA&P) and National Directorate for Security (NDS) would be responsible to defend territorial integrity and national sovereignty of their great motherland once the international troops leave the country by 2014.
These forces have strong determination to fight the enemy and foil their conspiracies to destabilize security and disturb stability in the country.
The Afghan security forces after receiving professional trainings now have the capability to thwart the malicious schemes of the Afghan nation enemies everywhere in the country.
At the meantime combating terrorism and extremism in Afghanistan requires strong and solid support of the international community.
The world society significant role can’t be neglected in upgrading and strengthening of the Afghan national security forces.
For uprooting the menace of terrorism from the country and the whole region Afghanistan neighboring countries hold important position in the process.
Sincere and firm steps ought to be taken by people have suffered decades of war and conflicts and are thirsty for peace.
Training and equipping of Afghan national security forces with modern weapons and new information technology system would further enable them to protect their country in sound manner.
The victories security transition in the country sends a clear message to the insurgents and enemies of the country that Afghan security forces have now the lead of security in 75% of their soil while the third round of security transition is continuing successfully.
With the support of international community, Afghanistan will also continue its progress on the issue such as security, with a focus on terrorism and counter-narcotics, poverty reduction, humanitarian needs, provision of basis social services, food immunity, and observation of human rights in particular the rights of women and children.
Respect to individual dignity, promotion of education and culture, improvement of governance, reducing corruption, lessening reliance on international assistance, and promotion of private investment are the other vital issue which the Afghans government will precisely focus on.
The Afghan nation strongly supports the government schemes for a prosperous Afghanistan and also has full confidence on their brave and patriotic soldiers to defend their country.

Kabul (BNA) 15 armed Taliban were killed in mopping up operations by the Afghan national army forces in the outskirts of Helmand province. 
This operation conducted under the title of “Naweed 49” for cleaning of militants in the outskirts of Helmand districts. 
National defense ministry press office said to BNA, in the recent developments of this operations, 15 armed Taliban including a senior commander of them Mullah Mosafer were killed in the outskirts of Kajaki district of that province.  
A quantity of light and heavy arms and 18 anti-vehicle mines were seized by these forces, said the source. 
According to another report, in cleaning operations by Afghan security forces in the vicinities of Nawzad district of Helmand province, 2 armed militants were killed, and two others wounded and a quantity of light arms were seized by these forces.

Asadabad (BNA) 16 armed Taliban rebels were killed in Kunar province yesterday. 
It is said these militias were killed in air attack of NATO in Ghaziabad district of Kunar province. 
Fazullah Wahidi governor of Kunar said to BNA, the air attack took place by NATO forces in Eagal area, Ghaziabad district, in which 16 armed Taliban including a senior commander of Taliban Mullah Jalal were killed. 
According to him, in this air attack of NATO, a person who previously worked in the national army and 2 ISAF soldiers were killed.
