Kabul (BNA) Afghan general chief of staff met with NATO general chief of staff in Kabul yesterday.  According to national defense ministry press office said to BNA, in this meeting discussion taken place regarding role of ISAF in ensuring of peace and stability in Afghanistan, training and equipment of security forces, extension coordination between national army and ISAF forces, promotion , confidence and cooperation, adopting measures for verifying  threatened from roadside blast and other problems.  General Shir Mohammad Karimi general chief of staff said that the Afghan security forces especially national army managed to carry out separate their duties and transferring process of security responsibilities will take till 2014 as favorable.  NATO General chief of staff’s emphasized that NATO continued assistances in training, equipment and constructions of army and other Afghan security foundations.

Kabul (BNA) 500 Afghan policemen were dispatched for professional training to Turkish country.  According to BNA, these policemen will be trained vocational skills to Turkish country for six month.  Previously, a group of national policemen were trained in Turkish country. Afghan authorities called training of policemen in Turkish country other positive step toward improvement of police in the country.

Kabul (BNA) In an operation of police in Khake Afghan, Arghandab, Shajoee districts and center of Qalat, Zabul province an armed opposition was killed and seven others arrested.
Col. Fazil Ahmad Sherzo, security commander of Zabul told BNA reporter, during the operation of police forces in the mentioned areas, a Talib was killed and seven others have been arrested with their hand arms last night.
The source said, the seized arms included a PK machine gun, a Kalashnikov, 3 pistols and two sets of communication means.

Kabul (BNA) An explosion occurred in Khan Aqa village, Bagram district of Parwan province this morning.
Abdul Qodos Shokor district governor of Bagram and press office of Parwan security command confirmed this report.
According to BNA report, the explosion took place in the morning while a patrol of foreign forces was passing from the area.
The explosion came out from a planted mine which was controlled by remote control.
Local authorities confirmed that in this event a vehicle partially damaged but no report is on hand regarding the casualties.
According to another report, in a clash between Taliban and security forces, a Taliban commander with a Talib killed and a number of them were injured in Parwan province.
