Charikar (BNA) a local police commander was dead in Parwan province yesterday.  Mohammad Sayeed Sediqi, governor of Saiagard district of Parwan province in a telephone contact said to BNA, commander Abdul a local police commander was killed by unknown men in the Fendqistan area when he going from his house to district.  The suspects of the case fled and are under by police custody.  Meanwhile two local police were injured in clash by armed Taliban in the Shinwari district.  Saifullah Bedar governor of Shinwari district said that this clash occurred yesterday morning when Taliban attacked on vehicle of police, two local policemen were wounded, the attackers fled from the spot and under investigation by police.

Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Four ANA soldiers were killed yesterday and 11 others injured in a mine blast took place in ANA headquarters in Badghis province.  According to Ziaullah, police chief for Muqur district of the province, the blast took place in an ANA headquarters in Muqur district.  The mine controlled from a remote area was discovered Friday evening in Dar-e-Boom area of the district and were taken to the headquarters.  The source added ANA soldiers thought they had defused the mine and taken to the headquarters, but the mine exploded and killed four ANA soldiers and injured 11 others.   Abdul Ghani Saberi, deputy governor of Badghis while confirming the blast in the ANA headquarters said the mine was a contro9lled mine.

(BNA) KABUL: Two American officers were shot dead at close range in Afghanistan's Interior Ministry on Saturday, a U.S. official said, as rage gripped the country for a fifth day over the burning of the Muslim holy book at a NATO base.

NATO recalled all staff working at ministries in the Afghan capital Kabul following the attack, with its top commander in Afghanistan calling the killer a coward.

"For obvious force protection reasons, I have also taken immediate measures to recall all other ISAF personnel working in ministries in and around Kabul," said General John Allen, adding that the attacker's actions "will not go unanswered."

The two American officers, advisers to the ministry, were fired on at close range, a U.S. official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The Koran burnings ignited anti-Western fury. Thousands have taken to the streets and at least 27 people have been killed in the protests. Two American soldiers were shot dead on Thursday by an Afghan national army soldier who joined the rallies.



Afghan Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Wardak, in a phone call with Panetta, apologized and said Karzai was assembling religious leaders, parliamentarians, justices of the Supreme Court, and others in an effort to curb violence, according to a Pentagon description of the conversation.

In Kabul, Allen met with Afghan Interior Minister Bismillah Mohammadi, who pledged his complete cooperation with the investigation, the Pentagon said.

NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed two of its servicemen had been killed in Kabul but declined to say if the shooter was a member of the Afghan security forces.


Hundreds of people tried to overrun a compound in the northern Kunduz province housing workers from the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, but were held back by police, Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said.

 

The security personnel of Afghan in the level of second term of transition have delivered officially the responsibility of security of Balkh province today.The German forces was busy to strength of security besides the Afghan forces in Balkh province up to now. Doctor Ashraf Ghani Ahmad Zia head of the transition commission of responsibilities security from foreign forces to Afghan forces said in Balkh. The government has decided with the assistance of world society will be more equipped the Afghan forces for made more security themselves and more defense. Ahmad Zia talked during the transition responsibility of security Balkh to the Afghan forces in Mazar-i-Shareaf city and said the Afghan forces will be equipped with the modern arm as soon as possible. Ata Mohammad Nor governor of Balkh in this function the accepted of security responsibility from foreign forces expressed readiness but he asked the government and world society will be take measure in increased of less and equipped of Afghan forces to more than  modern arm. The ambassador of Germany in Afghanistan was present in this ceremony emphasized to his country cooperation for Afghanistan after 2014 year. He said that his country also assure to equip and training of Afghan forces. Its coming up to 2014 Christian year the world society will be ended to their military presence to Afghanistan and the Afghan forces will be take the responsibilities of all over security and defense of Afghanistan.
