Lashkarga (BNA) As a result of mine explosion, a tribal elder killed in Greshk district of Helmand province Friday. 
The report adds that this tribal elder was previously the head of social council of Greshk and was killed as a result of mine explosion in Jaction area of Greshk district and a person was injured. 
The reason behind killing of this dignitary is unknown so far and the search for the recognition of culprits of the incident is begun.

Asadabad (BNA) A local commander of Taliban with his nine followers killed in Kunar province. 
These militias were killed in a combined operation of Afghan and coalition forces in Hoki district of that province. 
Wasifullah Wasifi spokesperson for Kunr governor said to BNA, this operation was conducted in Dewagul area, Hoki district, as a result, nine Taliban including Mullah Wazir local commander of them were killed and two others were wounded. 
In another incident, a senior commander of Taliban was detained in Watapoor district of Kunar province the other day. 
Spokesman of 1st battalion of 201 army crops said to BNA, the commander name is Zaiullah and a PK machine gun was seized by the national army forces from him.

Qala-i-Naw (BNA) Two national army soldiers were lost their lives in a mine blast in Moqur district of Badghis province last night. 
A source of national security Dept. of Badghis province said to BNA, a vehicle of national army soldiers was struck with a mine in Khak Plak village, Moqur district. In this event, two national army soldiers were martyred and their vehicle destroyed slightly. 
The incident occurred in Moqor district, while another vehicle of ANA was struck with a mine last month in which a soldier was martyred and two others have been wounded.

Gardiz (BNA) The combined forces in an operation in Zormat district of Paktia province discovered and defused 5 tons of hashish yesterday. 
Colonel Abdul Ghafar Safi police chief of Paktia said to BNA, the Afghan and foreign forces in an operation seized five tons of hashish from a house in Soraki area, Zormat district. 
According to him, six persons were detained in connection with the case. 
He said that the mentioned hashish was transferred from other provinces to that district and was due to transfer to Pakistan.
The seized hashish were set on fire by these forces in that area.
