Herat City (BNA) A 24-year-old man has been arrested by policemen on the charges of raping his mother in western Herat province.
The arrested person is resident of Naw Abad region, 11 security precinct of Herat city, which has been arrested by policemen based on his mother’s claim and now he is under investigation.
A police official in Herat told BNA correspondent, mother of the man has claimed that her 24-year-old son raped on her.

Kabul (BNA) as many as five members of Al-Qaeda network were killed during a special operation carried out by Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
The Al-Qaeda fighters were three Chechens, a Pakistani national and an Afghan, who were responsible to launch destructive and terrorist activities in Afghanistan, particularly in the east of the country.
According to reports, the Al-Qaeda members were killed in their hideout, while they were involved an organizing a series of terrorist activities in Totoy village, Shirzad district of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani provincial spokesman for Nangarhar confirmed the killing of 5 Al-Qaeda members told BNA reporter, an Afghan and four foreigners were among the dead.

Charikar City (BNA) A huge shipment of narcotic drug had been discovered and seized by Afghan security forces in central Parwan province last night.
It was supposed that the shipment to be transferred to Kabul city, which discovered from relevant areas of Jabul Saraj district of the province.
A police official in Parwan told BNA correspondent, about 600 kg narcotic drug type of hashish have been seized from the shipment.
Two persons were arrested on charge of transferring the shipment.
Police officials said, the arrested persons skillfully have placed the narcotic drug in a truck.

Kabul (BNA) Brig. Gen. Mohammad Radmanesh deputy spokesman for Ministry of National Defense yesterday in a press conference stated that 11 invasive operations ongoing in 11 provinces of the country.
Meanwhile, Afghan commando forces within the last 24 hours conducted 12 aggressive operations and Afghan air forces launched 7 air attack to suppress armed oppositions and destroyed their hideouts in different parts of the country, Radmanesh added.
It is mentionable that 50 anti-government militias including 13 ISIS fighters were killed, 26 have been arrested and 12 others were arrested during the military operations, Radmanesh further added.
Jalal a top commander of ISIS terrorist group was killed in Chaparhar district of Nangarhar province and Khaibar a senior commander of Taliban terrorist group was killed in Alingar district of Laghman province by Afghan security forces, the deputy spokesman said in the press conference.
The invasive operations were conducted by Afghan security forces to suppress armed rebels and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Urozgan, Herat, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz, Baghlan and Helmand provinces, Radmanesh underlined.
