Kabul (BNA) At least 5 fighters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group have been killed and four others were wounded during joint military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
According to information of 201 Sylab army corps to BNA, the joint operation under the code name of Shaheen 25 launched with participation of Afghan National Police, Afghan Border Police, Public Order Police and National Directorate Security (NDS) personnel to eliminate ISIS loyalists, ensure peace and stability, protect and lives and properties of people and government sovereignty in restive areas of Koot and Deh Bala district of the province.
Several villages have been clear-up from being of ISIS members since launching the operation, source added.
Some heavy and light weapons have been discovered and seized during the joint operation as well.
Also four terrorists were arrested by Afghan security troops following vehicles’ searching in Kotwal region, Deh Bala district of Nangarhar province.

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan left Kabul at the head of a senior governmental delegation for Germany to attend the 53rd round of Munich Security Conference late Thursday.
According to the Presidential press office to BNA, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani during his 2 day visit will deliver speech during the security conference and will share the status of Afghanistan’s security situation.
At the margin of the conference Mr. Ghani will meet with leaders and governmental officials from other countries including Germany’s Prime Minister, U.S. Deputy President, President of Azerbaijan, President of Croatia, Prime Minister of Turkey, Norway Chancellor, Prime Minister of Georgia, UN Secretary-General, European Union policy and security chief, foreign ministers of Russia, Germany, Saudi Arabia, China, Iran, Qatar, U.S. Senators, defense minister of British, head of Microsoft company, chief of Albright Group, head of international criminal and ex-UN representative in Afghanistan. 
Also a strategic agreement will be signed between Afghanistan and European Union by Eklil Hakimi minister of finance and Federica Mogherini Representative and Deputy of European Union for Foreign Affairs Policy
Mohammad Hanif Atmar National Security Advisor, Eklil Hakimi minister of finance, Ahmad Nader Naderi senior advisor of president in public relation and strategic affairs and Dr. Hamayoun Qayoumi senior advisor of president in infrastructures affairs are accompanying Mr. Ghani in this trip.

Paroon (BNA) Five armed Taliban rebels were killed and at least two others were injured in recent battles in Nooristan province.
The insurgents were targeted in Kamdish district near Durand Line.
The clashes occurred after Taliban rebels stormed on security forces convoy.
A border police commander in the east of the country told BNA, in the battles five rebels lost their lives and two others were injured.
It is mentionable that no harm and casualties suffered to security forces and residents in the battles.

Jalalabad (BNA) Daesh loyalists were killed in Nangarhar air and ground attacks carried out by security troops.
The raids conducted on Daesh strongholds in parts of the province.
First raids conducted on Daesh hideouts in Hasakamina district.
Ataullah Khogyani governor spokesman of Nangarhar province told BNA in the raids, 11 Daesh fighters lost their lives and nine others were injured.
He said, several hideouts of Daesh and weapons caches of them have been destroyed.
Another report says that other raids took place on Daesh stronghold in Kot district in which 4 Daesh fighters were injured.
The fighters were targeted while terrorist activities in Kot district and injured.
According to another report, seven Daesh fighters lost their lives in Achen district and three others have been wounded.
The fighters were targeted by air and ground raids of security troops while a series of terrorist activities and killed.
He said no harm and losses incured to security forces and residents in the raids.
