JALALABAD CITY (BNA) As many as 30 members of ISIS and Taliban groups were killed and dozens others were wounded following attacks carried out by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
The terrorists have been targeted in various parts of Koot, Chaparhar and Momand Dara districts of the province last night and this morning.
Top commander of Afghan national army in the east of the country told BNA correspondent, 30 fighters of ISIS and Taliban groups including their three local commanders were killed and dozens others were injured following the attacks.
Six hideouts belonged to the terrorists have been destroyed along with all military equipment during the raids, the commander added.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover four weapon storages in Acheen, Haska Mina and Chaparhar districts of the province.
Several heavy and light weapons, bombs and mines have been discovered from the weapon storages.

Trenkot (BNA) Eleven Taliban motorcyclists were killed in a clash by Afghan security forces in Urozgan province last night.
The clash occurred in Dehrawod District while Afghan security forces targeted a group of Taliban motorcyclists.
ANA senior commander in south of the country told BNA, eleven Taliban insurgents were killed in the conflict.
The Taliban were suppressed while terrorist and destructive activities.
No harm and casualties incurred to security forces and civilians in the conflict.

Lashkargah (BNA) Fourteen armed Taliban were killed and six others were injured in recent air raids of Afghan security forces in Helmand province this morning.
The insurgents were suppressed in parts of Gereshk and Sangeen Districts.
ANA senior commander in south of the country told BNA, in the raid, 14 armed Taliban were killed and six others have been wounded.
According to reports, two strongholds of the Taliban with all war equipment have been destroyed.
Another report says, a series of blasts were prevented in Helmand province.
Security officials with collaboration of people discovered and neutralized eight mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from deadly event.
Local official blamed Taliban for the mine planting.
Taliban mostly plant bombs and mines in busy roads of the province, which victimized civilians.

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by National Security Advisor Dr. Hamdulllah Mohib, security leading sector’s meeting was held yesterday. 
In the meeting, overall security situation of Kabul city and all other provinces of the country was discussed and reviewed.
Participants in the meeting briefed related to ongoing operations in the country where enemies of peace and stability sustained heavy losses.
Meanwhile, overall security situation of Kabul city particularly security situation of those PDs where there were some concerns was discussed.
Relevant officials assured that a range of new steps have been taken and their positive results would be soon touchable.
National security advisor of the country asked relevant security organs that in addition to military operations, attention should be paid to disrupt and dismantle enemy plan that deliberately target innocent civilians.
