Jalalabad City (BNA) More than 28 loyalists of ISIS terrorist group were killed by Afghan Special Forces in vicinity of eastern Nangarhar province last night.
The terrorists have been targeted and killed in various parts of Roudat, Door Baba and Heska Mena districts of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan National Army in the east of the country told BNA correspondent, air and ground raids carried out by Afghan Special Forces in different parts of the mentioned districts, in which 28 ISIS adherents were killed and their several hideouts along with some military equipment have been destroyed too.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating 5 round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent from a series of blast incidents in Nangarhar province.
Also during this period, a weapon storage belonging terrorist group have been seized by Afghan security troops in relevant areas of Jalalabad city the provincial capital of the province.
Several heavy and light weapons have been seized from the weapon storage.
Local officials in the province claimed that ISIS members used the weapon storage in their terrorist and destructive activities.

Kabul (BNA) In recent air raids of Afghan Security Forces on Taliban hideouts in Farah province, 16 armed insurgents were killed last night.
The insurgents were targeted by security forces in suburb of Farah city and Bakwa District.
Senior commander of ANA in west of the country told BNA, 16 insurgents were killed in the raids.
Two hideouts of insurgents with all war equipment have been demolished.

Pul-e-Khumri City (BNA) Once again Taliban militants destroyed an imported electricity transmission tower in Doshi district, northern Baghlan province last night.
Col Jamal Naser director of fourth police zone in Kelagi told BNA reporter, Taliban militants’ nightfall has destroyed an electricity tower in relevant areas of Larkhawab region, Doshi district, which cut off electricity supply from Uzbekistan to Kabul.
Eng. Abdul Aawal Panah technical deputy for Ghori electricity told, efforts ongoing to reconstruct the electricity tower as soon as possible electricity supply will be connected to Kabul.

Mehtarlam (BNA) Six Taliban rebels were killed and four others have been injured in recent conflicts in Laghman province.
The rebels were shelling by security forces while they stormed on security forces in Mehtarlam-Alishing District.
Police official of Laghman told BNA, in the clash, six armed Taliban were killed and four others have been injured.
