Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Police of Baghlan reported from arresting of 20 people suspected to criminal offenses.
Colonel Mohammad Wais Samimi police chief of Balghlan told BNA local correspondent, the suspects have been arrested in the following days from center and districts of the province.
24 Kalashnikovs, rocket launcher and pistol were seized from the detainees, he added.

Kandahar (BNA) Nine Taliban terrorists were killed in a conflict by security troops in Kandahar last night.
The terrorists were targeted by shelling of security troops while attack on several police checkpoint in Maiwand District.
No harm and casualties sustained to security troops and residents in the conflict, he added.

Jalalabad (BNA) A Haqany’s network leader has been detained while returning from Pakistan in Tourkham highway.
Mullah Moman known Khalid Haqany’s network leader has been identified and detained by ANA forces yesterday.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, the leader of the network had wanted to organize a series of terrorists’ activities in Nangarhar.
Mullah Momand in first research of ANA forces confessed to being member of Haqani network.
He said he had so far organized six armed attacks on militaries and civilians in east of country.

Kabul (BNA) Taliban “Red Unit” commander for Farah province along with his 10 men were killed during conflicts with Afghan security forces in Ghor province.
Abdul Marouf Ramesh spokesman of Ghor police chief told BNA correspondent, Rashid commander of “Red Unit” in Taliban group along with his 10 men have been targeted by Afghan security forces in relevant areas of Firoz Koh city the provincial capital of the province.
Several other fighters of Taliban were wounded and some weapons have been destroyed during the clashes, Ramesh added.
Two Afghan national policemen were wounded following the incident, Ramesh underlined.
