Kabul (BNA) 103 armed rebels lost their lives during defensive and offensive joint military operations led by Afghan security troops within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office issued BNA, the operations were conducted to suppress armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Zabul, Kandahar, Badghis, Farah, Baghlan, Faryab, Kunduz, Sar-e-Pul, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces.
Three top commanders of Taliban terrorist group and 3 ISIS fighters were among the dead, the source added.
In addition, 40 anti-government militias were wounded and a mine maker of the group was arrested.

Kabul (BNA) At least four prayers were martyred and 31 others were injured by irresponsible unknown gunmen in northern Takhar province yesterday.
The incident took place, while the prayers were praying in central Darul-e-Olum, Chah Aab district of the province.
Sunatullah Timori spokesman of Takhar governor said BNA correspondent, four prayers were martyred and 31 others were wounded following the event.
Eyewitnesses told BNA reporter, the attackers affiliated to Aamer Bashir a commander of irresponsible armed gunmen.
But, Aamer Bashir rejected his being involvement in the event.
Khalil Aseer spokesperson of Takhar police chief said, the injuries of the incident timely has taken to Kunduz and Rustaq hospitals and the health conditions of several injuries are not satisfactory.
Local government dispatched a delegation to review the reason behind the incident, Aseer added.

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan Reforms Association combined of civil society activists and correspondents by condemning recent crime of Taliban group in Mirza Olang valley of Sar-e-Pul’s Sayad district has named the month of Asad as black month of the year.
In a gathering held the other day in Kabul with participation of deputy minister of publications for information and culture and a number of civil society activists, correspondents and cultural figures, Taliban crimes titled ‘Taliban and two decades of the group’s crimes from north to Mirza Olang’ were discussed.
They said that Taliban by carrying out their recent crime in Mirza Olang have opened new chapter of their crimes. They warned that the government should have serious and strict reaction over recent crimes of Taliban in the country and delivered a clear message to the Taliban group that the people of Afghanistan would never surrender to their crimes, instead they would keep unity and solidarity among each other.

Kabul (BNA) A top commander of Taliban terrorist group was killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in western Herat province the other day.
Abdul Ahad Wali Zada spokesperson in police headquarter of Herat told BNA correspondent, Mullah Naser the notorious commander of Taliban was gunned down during conflicts with Afghan security personnel in Roudgaz area, Adraskan districts of the province.
In addition, two armed oppositions were injured during the battles, Wali Zada added.
The Taliban commander was wanted by Afghan security troops and had active role in terrorist and destructive activities in Shindand district of Herat province.
