Kabul (BNA) At least 16 armed rebels were killed and 10 others were wounded following clearing operations launched by Afghan security troops in 3 provinces of the country.
Press office of 201 army corps reported BNA, the operations were conducted in coordination of “Naweed 33 military operation” with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in various parts of Baghlan, Kunduz and Faryab provinces.
Qari Ezatullah a top commander of Taliban group was among the injured, the source added.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, military mobilizations have been discovered and three motorcycles of them have been destroyed at the end of the military operations.

Maimana City(BNA) A top commander of Taliban terrorist group who led 20 fighters of the group was arrested by Afghan National Police (ANP) personnel in northern Samangan province.
Ministry of Interior press office stated BNA, Mullah Esmatullah the senior commander of Taliban was detained during a military operation had been conducted by policemen in Kokgar region, Hazrat Sultan district of the province.
The arrested commander was involved in most terrorist and destructive activities throughout the said province.
Also during the operation a member of Jandullah terrorist group was detained along with a Kalashnikov and a motorcycle.

Kunduz (BNA) 15 armed oppositions were killed and 7 others were injured in a special operation carried out by national army forces in Chardara district, Kunduz province.
According to Pamir 20 division press office in charge to BNA, in the operation a weapon and ammunition depot of Taliban were also destroyed.
It is said that during the last week, 50 armed Taliban were killed and 30 others were wounded in the operations as well.

Kabul (BNA) National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel discovered a weapons cache of Taliban in Nangarhar province.
According to NDS press office to BNA, the NDS personnel during a special operation discovered a weapons cache of Taliban in Nangarhar province.
The weapons cache were hidden in a private school located in 2th precinct of Jalalabad city for terrorist and destructive attacks on a crowded areas of the province.
Two persons have been detained in connection of the case.
