Lashkargah City (BNA) At least 16 people including 14 Afghan security personnel were martyred and 24 others were wounded following suicide attack occurred in southern Helmand province yesterday.
The suicide bomber detonated his explosive material among local policemen gathered at a bank to receive their salary in Lashkargah city the provincial capital of Helmand.
Security official in the province told BNA correspondent, 16 people including 14 local policemen were martyred and 24 others injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, doctors in health center of Lashkargah city claimed that the health conditions of seven injured are not satisfactory.
No individual or group has comment regarding the deadly incident yet, but local officials told that Taliban militants are responsible for the event.

Kabul (BNA) In the recent clash 9 armed rebels were killed and 4 others were wounded in Sar-e-Pul province yesterday morning.
A commander of national army press office in Sar-e-Pul to BNA, the clash took place while armed Taliban attacked on military convoys in which 9 rebels were killed and 4 others were wounded.
According to another report, Afghan security forces prevented occurrences of three explosions in the province.
According to the reports, the mines were planted by insurgents in Sar-e-Pul highways discovered and defused with cooperation of people by Afghan security forces.

Jalalabad (BNA) Daesh loyalists were suffered casualties in air and ground attacks conducted by security troops in Nangarhar province.
The attacks carried out in the last 24 hours on Daesh strongholds in Achen and Rodat districts, in which 33 Daesh fighters were killed and 12 others were injured.
Several weapons caches of Taliban were destroyed, and numerous of narcotic were also seized in the raids.
Likewise, the security forces of Nangarhar province discovered and neutralize three mines and prevented from terrorist events on civilians.

Maimana (BNA) Three children were injured in a mine blast in Faryab province.
According to head of Faryab security directorate to BNA, the children were hit a mine while they were playing in Qisar district.
A local police commander of the province blamed Taliban for the incident.
Doctors in a medical center reported the health status of the children serious.
