Friday April 13, 2018 Kabul (BNA) More than 35 anti-government militias were killed and 8 wounded during joint military operations conducted by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) within the last 24 hours across the country. Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations carried out by support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions, ensure security and stability and protect the lives and properties of local residents in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Kapisa, Logar, Paktika, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Farah, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces. Also, 9 hideouts of terrorists have been destroyed and a vehicle belonging the militants annihilated. Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military equipment belonging the terrorists have been seized by ANDSF during the operations, the source added. Friday April 13, 2018 Kabul (BNA) As many as 20 loyalists of Islamic State for Syria and Iraq (ISIS) terrorist group were killed during latest air and ground attacks carried out by Afghan Special Forces (ASF) in eastern Nangarhar province. The militants have been targeted and killed in various parts of Haska Mena, Koot and Roudat districts of the province. A commander of Sylab army corps in the east of the country told BNA reporter, 20 ISIS fighters were killed following the raids. Several hideouts of the terrorist groups along with its military equipment have been destroyed during the attacks, the source added. According to another report, Afghan security personnel by discovering and defusing four round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent series of blasts in crowded areas of Nangarhar province. At the same time, a weapon storage belonging terrorist group have been seized by Afghan security personnel in Nangarhar province. Some heavy and light weapons have been discovered from the storage. Friday April 13, 2018 Kabul (BNA) At least 50 armed oppositions were killed following air and ground attacks carried out by NATO and Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Ghazni province within the last 24 hours. ANDSF and NATO troops targeted anti-government militias via air and ground in relevant areas of Deh Yak, Qara Bagh and Khawaja Omari districts of the province. The attacks carried out, while hundreds armed oppositions stormed on Deh Yak, Qara Bagh and Khawaja Omari districts of Ghazni province, in which 13 Afghan security forces and district governor of Khawaj Omari district were martyred. A senior commander of Afghan National Army in the south of the country told BNA reporter, 50 armed oppositions were killed and dozens others were injured during the raids. Military officials in Ghazni province said that military operation has started to clean-up the mentioned districts from existence of anti-government militias. T/M.A.Ansari

Kunduz City (BNA) A massive mopping-up operation has started in northern Kunduz province yesterday.
Col. Ghulam Hazrat Karimi in-charge of publication in Pamir 20 sect told BNA reporter, the operation under the name of Tofab 2 has begun to annihilate armed oppositions and clean-up the villages of Balochha, Alcheen and Sajani villages of Kunduz city from being of terrorists.
