Pul-e-Alam (BNA) A key commander of Taliban was killed in Logar province last night.
Shahpoor Ahmadzai spokesman for Logar security command told BNA, commander Mohibullah with his colleague was killed in air and ground operation of ANA forces in Shekhan region, Kharwar District of the province.
He added, eight other suspects have been arrested and 8 motorbikes and numerous of weapons were seized in the operation as well.

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Cash assistance distributed for 36 martyrs and 26 wounded families in Baghlan province.
Najibullah advisor of executive office told BNA local correspondent, each martyr family received one 100,000 Afs and each injured family 50,000 Afs.

Farah (BNA) 22 Taliban militants were killed in a clash by police forces in Farah province and at least 20 others have been injured.
In the clashes, 4 ANA soldiers were martyred and at least six others were wounded.
Clashes occurred while dozens of Taliban stormed on ANA checkpoints in Dehzak region, Balabalock district.
ANA senior commander in west of the country told BNA, in the clashes 22 armed insurgents were killed and 20 others have been injured.
He also confirmed martyring of 4 ANA soldiers and injuring of six others.
Clashes started last night and continued till morning.
According to reports, assailants’ after heavy casualties escaped from the site.

Lashkargah (BNA) 13 armed oppositions were killed in a series of attacks in Helmand province last night.
The Taliban were suppressed by Afghan security forces while organizing a series of terrorist attacks on their strongholds in Sangeen district.
ANA senior commander in south of the country told BNA, 13 rebels were killed in the raids, he added, several strongholds of the insurgents have been demolished.
According to another report, security officials of Helmand succeeded to discover two weapons caches of Taliban.
The caches were kept in hideouts of Taliban in suburb of Lashkarga city.
Likewise, security officials of the province have failed conspiracy of Taliban for organizing a series of blasts.
Security officials discovered and defused six mines from surrounding of Lashkarga city and Gereshk district.
According to reports, the mines were planted by Taliban on busy roads of the district.
