Ghor (BNA) Three policemen were assassinated by unknown gunmen in Ghor province yesterday.
Shah Aqa Shetab police chief of Ghor told BNA correspondent, un-identified gunmen stormed on police checkpoint in Ferozkoh city and assassinated three policemen.
The perpetrators is not identified yet and investigation is ongoing, said Shetab.

Pul-e-Alam (BNA) Three armed insurgents have been detained by commando forces operation in Logar province yesterday.
Abdul Ghafar Nooristani press in charge of army corps told BNA, commando forces launched clearing operation in Padkhwab Shana region, Logar province, Mohammad Nabi, Faridullah and Ewaz Khan three associates of Taliban group with three Kalashnikov have been arrested.
Several weapons, two motorbikes of the insurgents were seized in the operation, said Nooristani.
The commando forces four days ago also arrested five armed insurgents from the mentioned region of Logar province.

Kandahar (BNA) Eleven Taliban terrorist were killed in a conflict by security troops in Kandahar province yesterday.
The insurgents were killed by security forces while they stormed on a military convoy of Afghan security forces in Maiwand and Khakriz districts.
Top commander of ANA in south of the country told BNA, in the conflicts, 11 Taliban including a local commander of them were killed and no harm and casualties incurred to security forces and residents in the conflicts.
Another report says, six armed Taliban were killed in recent clashes by security troops in Zabul province last night.
The Taliban were targeted in Shahjou and Shar-e-Safa districts while destructive activities.
ANA key commander in south of the country told BNA, in the conflicts, six Taliban were killed and no casualties sustained to militaries.

Asadabad (BNA) Nearly 60 internal and external ISIS fighters were killed during the last three days in their strongholds in parts of Chapa Dara District, Kunar province.
ANA senior commander in east of the country told BNA, the fighters have been killed in air and ground raids by security forces.
The fighters were suppressed by artillery raids of security forces, he added.
Eight top commanders of ISIS including three Pakistani were among the dead.
According to reports, four ISIS strongholds with all war equipment have been demolished in the raids.
