Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) 16 Taliban insurgents were killed in outskirt of Baghlan Markazi District, Baghlan province.
Colonel Jan Aqa anti-terrorism head of Baghlan security directorate told BNA, seven of the insurgents were killed while they stormed on police checkpoint in Pul-e-Khomri city and four others have been injured.
According to another report, Mullah Saifuddin shadow governor of Taliban for Borka district with nine other insurgents were killed in clashes by security forces in Baghlan province.

Jalalabad (BNA) An ANA solider lost his life and his colleague have been injured in shelling of motorcyclist assaulters in Nangarhar province this morning.
According to reports, two motorcyclists shelling on two soldiers of ANA forces in Qala-e-Seyali village, Behsood District.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, in the shelling, an ANA solider lost his life and another has been injured.
So far, no individual or group has committed responsibility of the attack.
The assaulters after shelling on the militaries fled the site and police started investigation to identify and arrest them.
The soldiers worked in a military unite in Ghazni province, and they went to their homes in Nangarhar to spend their holidays.

Jalalabad (BNA) Seven armed Taliban rebels were killed in Afghan security forces conflict in Nangarhar province last night.
The insurgents were suppressed while destructive activities in Momand Dara District.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, seven Taliban insurgents were killed and three others have been detained in the conflict.
Khogyani added, the insurgents were targeted while organizing a series of destructive activities.
It is mentionable that, to harm and casualties sustained to security forces and civilians in the clash.

Maidan-Shaher (BNA) Massive attacks of Taliban on Daimirdad District, Maidan-Wardak province was repulsed by security forces.
First Taliban captured several security checkpoints in the mentioned district, and martyred ten militaries including police commander, which they were faced with resistance of security forces and with arriving of police forces, heavy losses incurred to Taliban.
Maidan-Wardak Media office with releasing a statement said, 52 Taliban insurgents were killed and at least 65 others have been injured in the attack.
The statement also confirmed martyring of a police commander of Daimirdad district and other nine militaries in the attack and said, with arriving of police forces, the insurgents fled the site.
Local in charges of Maidan-Wardak said, presently, the security situation is normal there and all the areas are under the control of security troops.
