Ghazni (BNA) Eighteen armed Taliban rebels were killed in Ghazni province yesterday.
Mohammad Farooq Roshanmal Thunder 203 army corps spokesman told BNA, the rebels were killed in coalition forces operation in outskirt of Ander, Waghis, Moqor and Abband Districts of that province.
In the events, five Taliban were also injured, two vehicles, and nine motorbikes of the insurgents were also destroyed, he added.

Kabul (BNA) As many as eight armed oppositions including their top commander were killed during conflicts with Afghan security forces in southern Urozgan province.
The insurgents have been targeted in relevant areas of Khas Urozgan district and Tarinkot city the provincial capital of the province last night.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, eight terrorists including Mullah Khairullah their top local commander were killed and seven more were wounded.
The rebels were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities, the source added.

Jalalabad (BNA) Eighteen ISIS associated group were detained in Nangarhar province.
The associates of ISIS group have been arrested in a special operation of NDS officials from parts of Chaparhar District.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, from these individuals, there are documents showing their membership in the ISIS group.
In the operation, several weapons were also seized by NDS officials, he added.
Another report says, a series of blasts were prevented in Nangarhar province this morning.
Security officials discovered and naturalized six mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from deadly events.

Ghor (BNA) Four armed Taliban rebels were killed in Doulina District, Ghor province yesterday.
Syeed Zeya Hosaini police chief of Ghor told BNA correspondent, the Taliban were killed while wanted to attack on a convoy of militaries in Ferozkoh city.
In the conflict, four Taliban were killed and another has been injured, Hosaini added.
Another report says, three Taliban were killed by security forces clash in Faryab province last night.
Abdullah Masoomi governor of Khwaja Sabzposh District told BNA, the clash occurred in two villages of the mentioned district, in which three Taliban were killed and eight others have been wounded.
As a result of firing two mortar mines on residential houses in the mentioned villages 19 civilians including women, children and men have been wounded, said Masoomi.
The wounded civilians have been shifted to hospital and the health status of three wounded children reported series, said the source.
