Kabul (BNA) At least 22 people were reportedly killed and 45 injured in two separate attacks in the capital Kabul, which apparently targeted the government employees.
At about 4.00PM, two car bombs exploded in front of an office belonging to the National Directorate for Security, a Kabul police commander said.
After the first car bomb went off, a second vehicle exploded when rescuers rushed to the scene, said Ahmad Wali Saboori, chief of Kabul’s 7th police district.
Local news sources said government officials confirmed at least 22 people were killed and 45 others wounded in the blasts, with the death toll expected to rise.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
