Australia Shall Assist In Training Of National Army After 2014

Kabul (BNA) The Minister of National Defense General Abdul Rahim Wardak had a meeting with the deputy defense ministry of Australia discussed on the successful third phase of transition of security.
At this meeting General Wardak informed the Australian side on the preparations of the national army for taking the responsibility of third phase of transition and praised the efforts on the Austrian soldiers within the ISAF framework and stationed in Uruzgan.
The deputy defense minister of Australia expressed the support of his government for training of the Afghan security forces after 2014.
Australia has 1600 soldiers in Afghanistan. According to another report, general Shir Mohammad Karimi Chief of Staff of National Army also had a meeting with the deputy minister of defense of Australia.
