MoD: Joint Clearing Operations Leave 75 Insurgents Dead

Kabul (BNA) Over 75 anti-government militias including their senior local commander and 11 ISIS fighters were killed and 53 others were wounded during joint military operations led by Afghan National Security and Defense Forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office issued BNA, the operations were conducted with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Farah, Badghis, Jawzjan, Badakhshan, Balkh, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Also 26 planed mopping-up operations and 21 special operations have been conducted in 20 provinces of the country, the source added.
Meanwhile, Afghan Air forces carried out 101 flights for supporting Afghan National Army troops and 25 strikes targeted terrorist hideouts during the last 24 hours, the source concluded.
