56 Armed Rebels Killed In Laghman Province

Kabul (BNA) Up to 56 armed oppositions have been killed during joint clearing operation led by Afghan security forces in eastern Laghman province.
Shir Aqa Faqiri spokesperson of 201 Sylab army corps told BNA correspondent, the operation was conducted to suppress anti-government militias, ensure peace and stability and protect the lives and properties of people in different parts of Alishing district of the province, in which 56 insurgents were killed and 30 others were wounded.
Also Abdul Wahab a top commander of the terrorist group is among the dead, Faqiri added.
Several villages have been cleared from existences of Taliban militants too, Faqiri further added.
It is mentionable that, there are zero casualties on the parts of Afghan security troops and civilians during the operation.
