MoD: Counter-Terrorism Operations Kill 65 Insurgents Across The Country

Kabul (BNA) As many as 65 armed oppositions including 4 ISIS loyalists have been killed and 46 others were wounded during joint clearing operations conducted by Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANSDF) within the last 24 hours across the country.
According to information of Ministry of National Defense press office to BNA, the joint mopping-up operations were launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces in various parts of Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Logar, Kandahar, Ghor, Jawzjan, Baghlan, Urozgan, Badghis, Balkh, Faryab, Kunduz, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces.
During the last 24 hours 14 planed clearing operations and 9 special operations have been conducted with support of 93 air flights, also 17 strikes targeted enemies’ sanctuaries in different parts of the country, the source added.
