Afghan Archaeologist Dies In Kabul Roadside Blast

Kabul (BNA) At least one archaeologist died and four others were wounded early Saturday morning in Benisar area in the eastern part of Kabul city.
According to BNA report, the blast happened at about 8:00 am local time when a car carrying the archaeologists team to Logar province.
Noor Aqa Noori head of archaeological of Information and Culture Ministry confirmed that Abdul Wahab Ferozi archaeologist was martyred and three other archaeologists with a driver have been injured.
The wounded were transferred to the Emergency Hospital, he said.
A police source of Kabul said, a mine was placed in a motorcycle and exploded while passing of the car carrying archaeologists of information and culture ministry.
He said the archaeologists were on their way to Logar for work for investigation on Mas-e-Ainak area.
So far no group including Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
