Governor: Seven Taliban Fighters Killed

Thursday June 21, 2018 Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) About seven Taliban militants were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in northern Sar-e-Pul province. Mohammad Zaher Wahdat governor of Sar-e-Pul told BNA correspondent, the clashes took place, while Taliban members stormed Toupkhana village, Sancharak district of the province. Over 12 Taliban fighters were wounded during the conflicts too, Mr. Wahdat added. All Taliban militants fled from the area and some heavy and light weapons belong them have been seized by Afghan security forces, Mr. Wahdat further added. It has been said, there were no damages suffered to Afghan security forces at the end of the clashes. M.A.Ansari
