Heavy Losses To Taliban In Latest Conflicts

Herat (BNA) Taliban sustained heavy losses in recent conflicts in Herat province.
At least 20 armed Taliban rebels were killed and injured in the last 24 hours in Herat province.
Eight associates of Mullah Samad commander of Taliban were killed and four others were injured due to clashes among Taliban in Shindand District and other regions of the province.
The clashes continued several hours, two members of Nangeyalai, another commander of Taliban were killed and injured.
According to reports, three civilians including a girl and boy were wounded due to shelling of rocket.
It is said that four other Taliban insurgents were killed and three others have been injured in ambush of security forces in Pashtoon Zarghoon District.
Another report says that heavy blast was prevented in Shindand District, Herat province.
An anti-vehicle mine was planted by Taliban near Shindand district bazaar, discovered and defused by security forces and prevented from a deadly event.
