Joint Military Operations Leaves 24 Terrorists Dead

Sunday September 9, 2018 Kabul (BNA) At least 24 armed oppositions were killed and 19 others were wounded during 11 joint military operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country. Ministry of national defense’s press office stated BNA, the operations have conducted by support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress anti-government militias, ensure peace and stability and protect the lives and properties of people in various parts of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Pakita, Paktika, Logar, Zabul, Herat, Ghor, Baghlan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Faryab, Balkh and Helmand provinces. Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military equipment have been discovered and seized by Afghan security personnel during the operation, the source added. M.A.Ansari
