Taliban Militants Killed in Faryab Conflict

Maimana (BNA) Four Taliban militants were killed in a clash by security troops in Faryab province last night.
Karim Yorish press in charge of Faryab security command told BNA, the militants were killed in Koh Sayad village, Shirin Tagab district by police attack.
He also said, three other militants have been hurt in the battle.
According to the source, the bodies of the insurgents with three Kalashnikovs and a PK machine gun and numerous of weapons were remained on the battlefield.
No harm and losses sustained to police and civilians in the clashes.
According to another report three Taliban were killed in ANA forces operation in Jalalabad-Tourkham highway.
Press office spokesman of national defense ministry said, the operation conducted in outskirt of Batikot District, Nangarhar province in which three insurgents were killed and another has been hurt, numerous of heavy and light weapons were also seized in the operation and several villages were cleared from terrorist groups.
Likewise, as firing of ANA forces on Sakano district, two Taliban were killed and another was injured.
