Voter List Stolen by Unidentified Men in Polling Center

Kabul (BNA) Voter list stolen by unknown men in a voting center located in Bibi Ayesha Durani High School, 12 precinct of Kabul city.
Mohammad Azim in-charge of the voting center told BNA reporter, the voter list has stolen by unidentified men.
10 polling sites exist in the voting center that five of the sites is belonged to men and 5 others is belonged to women, Azim added.
Observers also confirmed stealing of the voter list in the voting center.
Independent Election Commission announced that 8,918,000 voters have been registered and more than 2,500 candidates are in the run for 249 seats of Wolesi Jirga, including 417 women candidates.
Elections will not take place in eastern Ghazni province amid an ongoing dispute over how to divide its electoral constituencies to ensure a more balanced ethnic representation.
Independent election commission has postponed elections in Kandahar for a week, following a brazen attack on a high-profile security meeting there with a US delegation that killed at least two senior provincial officials, including the province’s police chief, Gen. Abdul Raqiz.
