18 Taliban Rebels Killed In Provinces Of The Country

Kabul (BNA) The press sources of interior ministry said, 18 Taliban rebels were killed, 3 rebels wounded and 34 others were detained in operations of police forces.  
Interior ministry press office said to BNA, in the last 24 hours the mopping up operations conducted by police forces for cleaning of insecure regions of Kabul, Takhar, Kandahar, Logar, Ghazni, Helmand and Nimroz provinces, 18 rebels were killed, three wounded and 34 others were detained. 
It is said that in these operations, 14 different types of arms, a PK machine gun, 3 sets of communication, 500 kg of ammonium nitrate which use in making of bombs, 20 light arms shells, 4 mines, 28 kg of explosive device, 2 motorbikes of enemies were seized by police. 
According to another report, the national police forces, discovered and defused five anti-vehicle mines which were placed by armed militants for destructive and terrorist activities in the outskirts of Laghman, Baghlanh, Kunduz, Balkh and Khost provinces.
