Artillery Attack Took the Lives of Seven Rebels

KANDAHAR CITY (BNA) At least seven armed oppositions were killed following artillery attack carried out by Afghan security forces in southern Kandahar province last night.
Top commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, the artillery attack launched by Afghan security forces on terrorists’ hideouts in relevant areas of Ghorak district of the province, in which seven insurgents were killed and four terrorist’s hideouts have been demolished.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover and defuse four round of different type of mines from crowded areas of Kandahar province.
Meanwhile, a weapon storage belonged to Taliban militants have been seized by Afghan security troops in Kandahar city.
Some heavy and light weapons, bombs, mines and explosive materials have been discovered from the weapon storage.
