24 Armed Taliban Killed By Coalition Forces Raid

Sharan (BNA) Twenty-four armed Taliban were killed in Paktika province last night.
Fazel Khoda Ibrahimkhail Thunder 203 army corps spokesman told BNA, the insurgents were killed in joint clearing operation of security forces with support of coalition forces in outskirt of Shahmardan, Neka and Barmal districts of that province.
He added, three other insurgents have been arrested, five motorbikes and numerous of weapons were demolished in the operation.
Another report says, the national army forces in the last 24 hours conducting joint clearing operations in various parts of the country killed 23 armed oppositions, wound 15 others.
The operations were launched in Kunar, Badghis, Farah, Balkh, Baghlan, Kunduz, Faryab and Helmand provinces
