Security In Badakhshan’s 14 Districts Vulnerable

Kabul (BNA) The security of 14 districts in Badakhshan province are vulnerable, this was stated by Sayed Mohammad Amin Tariq the advisor in tribal affairs and member of High Peace Council, yesterday.
Addressing a joint meeting of local officials, civil societies and elders, Tariq said that poor harmony among the government bodies and foreign interference have caused security problems, noting viable peace will not return until and unless the people and government work in harmony.
He also said that seven people were knifed to dead only in the month of Ramadan by students who carry arms.
Others including head of peace council, Saad Abu Aman and head of religious scholars’ council, Mawlawi Fazal Rahman Mutaqi also spoke in the meeting to review the security situation in Badakhshan.
