Clashes Leave 18 Anti-Government Militias Dead

SHARANA CITY (BNA) As many as 18 armed oppositions were killed during conflicts with Afghan security forces in southeastern Paktika and Kunar provinces.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the southeast of the country told BNA reporter, 18 fighters of ISIS and Taliban terrorist groups were killed during the clashes.
The insurgents were involved on terrorist activities in east parts of Sharan city the provincial capital of Paktika and close to Durand Line in Kunar province, the source added.
It has been said, several heavy and light weapons and motorcycles belonged to the terrorists have been seized by Afghan security personnel at the end of the conflicts.
