Group of Taliban Fighters Joined Peace Process

JALALABAD CITY (BNA) A group of Taliban militants put down their hand weapons and joined peace process in eastern Nangarhar province.
The insurgents were involved in terrorist and destructive activities in various parts of Nangarhar.
Shah Mahmoud Miakhail Nangarhar governor while appreciated the rebels joining to peace process asked from other militants to join peace process.
Mullah Safiullah a rebel who joined peace process said, I will take part in reconstruction and ensuring security situation in the country.
According to another report, seven ISIS fighter were forced to surrender themselves to Afghan security forces in Nangarhar province.
Based on released figure, 550 members of ISIS group have been surrendered themselves to Afghan security forces with the last three months in Nangarhar province.
