Armed Militants Killed in Latest Clashes

Qalat (BNA) Eight Taliban militants were killed in recent clashes in Zabul province and 13 others have been injured.
Two commanders and three Pakistani fighters were also among the dead.
ANA senior commander in Atal army corps in south of the country told BNA, eight rebels were killed and 13 others have been injured.
The militants were targeted while terrorist activities in Daichopan region.
It is said that no harm and losses incurred to security forces and residents in the raids.
According to another report, a series of blasts were prevented in Zabul province.
Security officials discovered and neutralized seven mines from busy roads of Zabul province and prevented from deadly event.
Local sources blamed Taliban for the failed mine planting.
Taliban mostly planted bombs and mines on crowded ways of the province, which mostly victimized innocent civilians.
