Clashes Leave Seven Anti-Government Militias Dead

TARINKOT CITY (BNA) Over seven armed oppositions were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in southern Urozgan province last night.
The insurgents have been targeted, when they were involved on a series of terrorist activities in Tarinkot city the provincial capital of the province.
Commander of Afghan national army in Attal army corps told BNA reporter, seven militants were killed and six more were injured during the conflicts.
Several weapons have been seized by Afghan security forces at the end of the clashes, the source added.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating eleven round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Urozgan province.
No one was arrested accused of the mine plantings so far.
No individual or group has commented regarding the mine plantings, but local officials claimed that Taliban fighters are responsible for the foiled mine plantings.
