Taliban Key Commander Killed in Kunar Strike

Asadabad (BNA) A key commander of Taliban terrorist group was killed in an air strike conducted by security forces in Kunar province last night.
Qari Solaiman was targeted in his stronghold in Sakano District.
ANA top commander in Selab army corps told BNA, Qari Solaiman key commander of Taliban was killed and his two guards were wounded in the strike.
Another report says, a series of blasts were prevented in Kunar province.
Security officials with collaboration of residents discovered and defused 11 mines from busy roads of Kunar province.
No one has been detained in connection of the failed mine planting.
Taliban mostly planted bombs and mines in crowded areas of the province, which victimized innocent civilians.
