Indian Subcontinent Al-Qaeda Chief Killed in Helmand

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan National Directorate Security (NDS) by releasing a statement issued that Asim Omar Al-Qaeda’s Indian Subcontinent chief was killed in southern Helmand province.
According to BNA reported, NDS in a tweet said, Asim Omar was killed during a military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in Mousa Qala district, Helmand province.
Omar, a Pakistani citizen, was killed along with six other Al-Qaeda and Taliban members, most of them Pakistani. Among them was Raihan, Omar’s courier to Ayman Al-Zawahiri.
They had been embedded inside the Taliban compound in the Taliban stronghold of Musa Qala.
