Taliban “Red Unit” Members among 12 Rebels Killed

JALALABAD CITY (BNA) As many as 12 anti-government militias were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province last night.
The insurgents have been targeted in various parts of Khogyani district of the province. 
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA correspondent, 12 rebels including five members of Taliban “Red Unit” were killed during the conflicts.
The militants were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities that targeted and killed by Afghan security personnel.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating seven round of different type of miens succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Nangarhar province.
No one was arrested accused of the foiled mine plantings so far.
Meanwhile, a weapons storage belonged to Taliban terrorists group have been seized by Afghan security forces in Nangarhar province.
The weapons storage have kept in Sarkh Rouad district of the province that some heavy and light weapons have been discovered from the storage.
