Head & 5 Workers of Charity Foundation Kill Following Gunmen Attack

JALALABAD CITY (BNA) Head and 5 employees of a charity foundation lost their lives following unidentified gunmen attack in eastern Nangarhar province this morning.
The incident took place, while a gunmen stormed on a Japanese charity foundation in Jalalabad city the provincial capital of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesperson of Nangarhar governor in a telephonic contact told BNA correspondent, Dr. Testu Nakamura resident of Japan and head of the charity foundation (Peace Medical Services) and five workers residents of Afghanistan workers of the organization lost their lives in the attack.
First, Dr. Testu Nakamura was wounded in the attack, but lost his life due to heavy injuries in hospital, Khogyani added.
The charity foundation had active in construction and reconstruction, particularly in agriculture and health sectors in Nangarhar and Laghman provinces.
No individual or group has commented regarding the incident so far, but local officials in the province claimed that Taliban fighters are responsible for the event.
