Taliban Key Commander With Three Colleagues Killed in Kandahar Strike

Kandahar (BNA) A key commander of Taliban with his three colleagues was killed in air strike in Kandahar province yesterday.
Mullah Khateb key commander of Taliban was suppressed by security troops in Shahwalikot district.
Medias office of Atal army corps in south of the country told BNA Mullah Khateb with his colleagues wanted to organize attacks on two police checkpoints in Shahwalikot district, targeted by security troops.
No harm and casualties incurred to security troops and civilians in the raid, said the statement.
According to another report, police of Kandahar discovered and defused ten mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from a series of deadly events.
No one has been arrested in connection of the failed mine planting.
