Dozens Anti-Government Militias Perished in Faryab

Kabul (BNA) Dozens Taliban fighters including their two top commanders were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in northern Faryab province late on Tuesday.
Shaheen army corps by releasing a statement issued that the conflicts took place, while Taliban fighters carried out attacks on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in KhamAab and Qarqeen districts of the province.
As many as 32 Taliban militants including their two top commanders named Qari Osman and Qari Majid were killed and 25 more were wounded, the statement added.
Some heavy and light weapons, several vehicles and motorcycles belonged to the terrorists have remained at the battlefield, the statement concluded.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
