17 Anti-Government Militias Perished in Balkh

MAZAR-E-SHARIF CITY (BNA) Over 17 terrorists were killed and 11 others including deputy commander of Taliban “Red Unit” were wounded in northern Balkh province the other day.
Senior in-charge in Shaheen army corps said BNA reporter, the militants were killed, while they wanted to conduct attacks on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Qozi Bay Qala region Dawlat Abad district and Cheghtak region, Almar district of the province.
He added, 17 Taliban fighters were killed, 11 more including deputy commander of Taliban “Red Unit” were wounded and a hideout and three motorcycles belonged to the rebels have been demolished following the attacks.
